hihi, no. 2^2^2 is not 2^3, its (2^2)^2 = 4^2 = 16. 0x10 is hexadecimal number, that means you have the basis of 16. you count 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 1A 1B 1C 1D 1E 1F 20 ... your normal systhem with basis 10 is for example: 277101 = 2*10^5 + 7*10^4 + 7*10^3 + 1*10^2 + 0*10^1 + 1*10^0. (btw: 10^0 = 1) and if you have hexadecimal numbers, you wite a '0x' at the beginning to make a difference to normal numbers. (same number with hexadecimal) 0x43A7D = 4*16^4 + 3*16^3 + 10*16^2 + 7*16^1 + 13*16^0. its the same number, in a different kind of writing. This numbersysthem is most used in computers becoue 10 is no number 2^n. but the computer has numbers in binary codes. and if you take 4 binary numbers (1 or 0) together you have one hexadecimal number. (1110 = 1*2^3 + 1*2^2 + 1*2^1 + 0*2^0 = 14 = E). simetimes you see hexadecimal adresses if you have a critical error, than there is written in what adress of your RAM the error eccured. excample: 0x3E18FFF0.
