well, i have 179 posts now... this is my 180th! Little known fact about the JAC's: all JAC's get a Jedi Academy yellow blazer with the JA coat of arms over the breast pocket which we wear to the country club for drinks over talks of dueling strategy, server conduct, and who the smelliest lead trainer is. We've got a table reserved in the back of the club just for us and we're the only ones allowed to carry our lightsabers into the club. Damn, it's good to be the king! *sips on a brandy* edit: This is comment 181 for me. Aeth at this moment has 177 comments. no in all seriousness, instead of concentrating on "oldbies", i suggest you take care of the 300 (is it?) other newbies around here and help them become oldbies too.. ok now seriousness aside, who's the oldest oldbie and who is our newest newbie? also, it would be nice to know at what rate the academy is growing (accepting new people). and maybe also post the names of the 10 newest guys every week or something so everybody can get aquainted with them... just a few suggesstions.. p.s. aeth i'm up to 47, lol and also, doobie, what's your secret? _______________ make install -not war |

I am SOOOO oldbie... i'm the original oldbie, the mack daddy of oldbies... i am the oldbie. And your council sounds like a good idea... kinda like a jedi senate with the old and distinguished around... not sure how useful it will be in real life (us JACs like to keep a pretty good hold of the reins , but it'll be fun to see what oldbies are still around. _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

well, the waves: the first guys who joined were the first wave. they are the very very first guys... when life was still good. then the leaders put a stop to new members to concentrate on the ones they had (an me stood for closed doors, boohooo). but one day... they opened up again. so a whole bunch of new guys came to the JA and were called the second wave. I'm one of the first from the second wave for example. now, i'm not sure if the JA got closed after that... i think they just continued recruiting so there is no 3rd wave, i think. but normally (well i think so) when u talk of second wave you mean the new guys who joined in the first open week. enough history? =D and nof... you joined during the great crash? you remeber the month? august? september? oldbies: shall we take NOF and Arch? i like them... they are no REAL oldbies but well, me neither. i say let's take em, right?

I like the idea of an Oldbie Council. Basically I just don't want to be assumed to be a newbie when I've been around for a few months. lol.
So I like Nofrikinfun's Idea of being a "Middlebie", "Mediumbie", "Not-so-Newbie" or "Not-so-Oldbie". I honestly don't know what you're talking about with the waves, or how long you consider a wave to last. But maybe 3rd wave if that wouldn't include people joining now... not sure. I joined during the massive server problems. When all the old comments and crap got deleted... It's been a couple months now but I doubt I'd be considered an "Oldbie".
More a "Middlebie", "Mediumbie", "Not-so-Newbie" or "Not-so-Oldbie".

I was thinking that the Acadmey is changing lately. well, now i passed the trials although i didn't want to play at all. funny eh? maybe when i want to quit JK2 i'll get in the council? i just can't stop playing that stupid JK2 although i'm bored of it. *shakes head* so maybe i will be around some time
