To me poke poke does not equal wiggle/pokemon swing. Although wiggle is a just another way to add poke/poke someone you can stand still and at the sweet spot the saber pokes itself without moving. 4 hitbox kill with 1 swing without moving or you can poke with footwork, or they can poke themselves. The range of turning with the swing poke is what I was showing. Where it starts, where the swing is most effective, where it is useless, etc. Euros would call it "extension". _______________ Hi.. |

My suggestion would involve me showing up to a class of people that have time to kill and showing them things they should practice and can then practice with the rest of the class.
I had an oppurtunity offered to me to teach parries for instance on a Friday but every other friday I am preoccupied and that happened to be one of them. I would like to show people Basic Parries, Range of Aim Turn Poke, Reach, Footwork Poke, Advanced Parry physics + Brush + Bounce Parry + Overpoke, basic aerials, Strafe, 1 hop Strafe, Crouch Hop, Crouch Hop Strafe, etc , etc. Easily show them the methodology of how to do all of these that way the class can then practice all of these on eachother. All these things will translate into the other saber styles except with added advanced parries dealing with saber switching: Blue to Duals and Half Staff to Full. _______________ Hi.. |
