I hate DBZ myself..but here we go. If you want a bit deeper storylines these movies will probably up your alley: * Spirited away (this is a must see) * Akira (futuristic classic) In terms of deep series i can recommend: * Hellsing (maybe not the deepes of series but oh so dark. Vampires and stuff you know.) * Neon genesis evangelion (again a futuristic era. Very deep into religion and angel...and loads of mecca fighting )And now for the "other"..personal favorites that don't really fit into the deep category: * Trigun (one of the funnies animes I have seen) * Cowboy bebop (a funny future series with a serios undertone.) * Noir (some like it..others don't...it grows on you.)
