The JA channel on IRC is kinda like a giant chat room. Ever wondered why a server crashed and if its coming back up, have technical troubles you'd like help with or just want to poke fun at your fellow JA members then this is the place to be. If you're just looking to try out the JA IRC channel then you can use the site based jIRC but thats not really the best way to join if you intend to visit alot. You may want to get on IRC first, so you can get some help as you go along, to answer any questions questions you have or to get someone else on TS to make sure it working. Few url's incase you're not sure about IRC Holocron IRC guide Java website based IRC(not so good as mIRC but useful) I assume you've download TS RC2 from http://www.teamspeak.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index. Next you want to look at TS server page and take down the server IP address, which is in DJ sith's post and the password which is with the main server details. Start up TS and go to the connection menu and find connect. Hit that and a new window should pop up. Right click servers and add server. Give it a name(doesn't matter what). Once you've give it a name option will come up on the right for you to fill in. Fill in the server address and password that you picked up earlier, fill in nickname and hit connect. That should get you on, if no one can hear you or the other way around, then you'll need to go into options and play with some of the settings but your better to have someone on IRC or MSN try and talk you thru them if you can make them do anything. All you need to do is select a class that interests you, click the title, and then click 'Enroll' Then all you need to do is be on time at the class, but please, don't enroll in a class if you can't show up, and remove yourself from the Class List in case something comes up. It makes the Teacher's jobs a bit easier Next, don't forget to browse the forums (my favorite subject )In the forums you will also find some nice information about this lovely place. (Posts which are at the complete top are called Permanents and are important to the Jedi Academy. And I hope to see you on the server sometimes And a little bit on a side-note.
