of course :)

Finding the server at first, is always hard. Believe me, I didn't get it at first either :)

First of all... make sure that you are connected to the internet ... :P
For a complete step-by-step guide, please check here.

Please make sure though, that when you are playing Jedi Outcast, that you only input the Jedi Outcast server IP's, and not the Jedi Academy IP's. Since they won't work. This is also like this vice versa. So no Jedi Outcast servers on Jedi Academy:)

Go here, to get the correct passwords. I'm not going to blab out the passwords since the public would be able to see this page, and our servers are made private for a reason.
At the Server page you can see the IP's and the Passwords only when logged in. So don't forget to log in.

In game you just click the button 'Password' and you type in the password there.
You'll also see that the passwords are actually words. Since they are written in Internet Lingo.

I hope I've helped you with this.

Hey there Jen Fisto!

I'm Bail Hope, a Student, just like you.
I noticed you are new, and I just thought I'd leave you a message to explain a few things which might seem overwhelming to you at the moment.

First of all, the rules page!
This is, beyond doubt, the most important page for you in the entire Academy.
Even if you're not planning to read the rest of what I said, please read the rules
And obey them too!
Please, we had many problems already with people not obeying the rules, so please, for your own sake, live by these rules, and try not to break them.
I know you think those problems won't occur to you, so I want you to read this.
Please read it. It's VERY important.

Next important thing is GMT-offset. When you filled in your profile you must have noticed the field: GMT Offset. In the drop-down list, you select your own region, for instance: Northern Europe.
Then, when you are finished filling in your profile, don't forget to click Update your Account.
Also, to get a pic, you have to select a picture (on your own Hard Drive) which has to be a JPEG, GIF, or PNG image, and it can't be larger than 250 x 250 pixels in format, and not bigger than 30 KB in size.

Next come the also-important pages

First of all, the entire profile thing:
Every member has his/her own profile, on which you can leave messages for these people. It's also handier if you answer these posts by leaving the message on their profile, and not on your own.
To get to my profile just click my name, and wait for the page to load up. Then, on the new page you can click 'Add Comment' to leave me a comment

Next important page is The Servers Page. Here you shall find all info (if you're logged in) for all the servers used by the Jedi Academy.
Please note: If you give out the passwords to anyone outside the Academy you will be banned without a warning! These servers are made private for a reason!;)

Next, which is also considered very important is the The Holocron.
In here you will find a whole lot information on Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Knight 3. Also, you'll find loads of info on the Jedi Academy and how to get a master in the Holocron.
Also, which is important to some new members, please read this

The next links are of less importance, but can still be very helpful.
First off: The Articles Page. Here you'll find articles, for yor reading pleasure.

Second: The Links page. Here you can find all the links that have a relation to the Jedi Academy.

Next is the About Us Page.
Here you can find all the people who have a rank, and also a textbox where you can enter a name, of the person you're looking for. Also, you can click one of those letters, and you'll be shown all members who's name begins with that letter.

Next is the Classes Page in which you shall find all the info for the classes.
If you have set your GMT-Offset (see above) correct, you shall notice that all times appear in your time. So if it says 8 o'clock, it'll be 8 o'clock. This is done so you don't have to calculate or anything.
Please do note the difficulty of the class. Make sure that you pick a difficulty which is your own. Don't go too advanced when you're a beginner, and don't take Beginner Classes if you're actually advanced, if you get my point.
Also, if you want to know what classes are great to start out with, please go here.

Next comes my favourite subject:
The Forums.
This is self-explanatory, but please make sure that you post in the relevant discussion board. General stuff, about RL in General Discussion, something to do with the Community -> Academy Discussion, and so on... Please make sure the Admins won't have to spend their time relocating your posts to the correct location:-)

Next, comes IRC:
Chat Page.
Here you can connect to IRC and chat with other JA-members.
However, I do urge you to download mIRC, the chat client, which will allow you to chat on IRC without going to this window.
Get mIRC here.

Also, a little note on the BBcode, which can make text bold, or make text in to a link, which I have used frequently throughout my welcome post.
Look below for the tags to use. Every tag has it's own closing tag, and a closing tag starts with a /
Very much like in HTML, if you happen to know it:)

So, I guess this is everything you need to know.
If you have any further questions feel free to contact anyone here, we are all very helpful.
If you find you have several questions I suggest u contact Mune Who will get you in contact with your own personal Jedi Academy welcoming buddy :)
