Let's demonstrate something. I was harsh with you. I apologize to you. I was harsh with someone else. You in all your infinite wisdom that you believe your posess decide that I am a certain way and take back your accepting of my apology. When I apologize to them you assume that all I'm doing is back stepping, even though I have shown myself capable of apologizing of my own volition. You also assume that I am doing so because I don't want to be sent on vacation again, despite my telling you once already that it was my decision. You sure are making a lot of assumptions. Its almost as if you are twisting reality to fit your own views. You also want to yell and cry whenever you feel I've been insulting, and yet you constantly insult me, without any provocation. Ehe please matey call me Jai. Actually im afriad the Knight and Trainer selection process is Top Secret and as a result those numbers can not be disclosed. As far as the opperation of such a thing....think of it as batch processing. We process several people at once not just one or two people at a time. It allows us as a team to take use of economies of scale(so to speak). We currently have not one, but a number of batches in different stages of process which is a very time consuming but is also extremly thorough to ensure only the best quality students make it through to the rankings. Yeah, doesn't sound very fun to have led flying your way. My brother fought in Afghanistan when the para regiment first went over there, and he's just really thankful that he's in the royal artillery now. He's a sissy, though. Bloody officers, none of the enlisted guys here like 'em. But yeah, it definitely sounds like a tough job. I'm sure the massive pay rises justify it though! When I finish my training, i'll be given £5000 in a lump sum, purely for being a submariner. Just an incentive to lure people in, I guess. Mind you, when I signed up, I wanted to be an operator mechanic in the surface fleet. But, nope! That job is now obsolete, and I got drafted to the Submarine service due to a lack of volunteers. But hey, thanks for the well wishes! When did you come out of the Army? |

Yeah, heh. I'm not quite sure what to expect with the Submarine training though. I mean, it'll be very specific to my job (Weapons technician), but it's quite exciting to be going into things not really quite knowing what's ahead. I have a much deeper appreciation for any soldier, though, because I know what it's like to fire a rifle over and over. God, it takes some getting used to, hahah. Or maybe i'm just a sissy. |

Hey man, saw you said you were in the US army. My brother is an officer in the British army, and he's told me stories about you guys. The gist of it was when you lose all your electronic gismos, you tend to die easier. But nah, mad respect for you guys. I was going to join the British army, but nowadays isn't really a good time to do that, with all the structural changes and all. I joined up with the Royal Navy earlier this year, and i'm loving it. I go back to finish off my training this coming Sunday, actually. Anyway, just wanted to say hey, one serviceman to another! |
