| How to be a good student of the Academy | |

I feel that sometimes our members forget what is really important here at the Academy so here is a brief tutorial. 1)If you have trouble connecting to the server, post in every topic on the board "I can't see the server". That way you're assured of a quick responce to your needs. I know it will take a long time, but make sure it is in EVERY thread. 2)If anyone beats you in combat, they are obviously either (a)a hacker (b) a lucky n00b or (c) Fate ((aka your god, so you don't have to feel that bad about losing)). 3)Upon the end of every duel, the proper responce to "GF" or "Good Fight" is "LAG!". I know it seems strange at first, but you'll quickly see that this time honored tradition is what makes the Academy great. If your oponent truely enjoyed the fight, or anyone else witnessed the greatness of the fight you might even get a "STFU" in responce to your responce. 2) Whenever you make a list on the boards, make sure at least one (if not all) of your points are misnumbered. This adds a level of entertainment as well as a professional feel. 45) When you see two people in saber combat, join them! If they are in a duel (aka they aren't dying fast enough) whip out a rocket launcher and start trying to force them off cliffs with the explosions. If all else fails, make it too hard for them to fight eachother. 256) NEVER use guns in the fortress area. There's never anyone in there to blow up. Always bring your guns into the courtyard, bar, duel rooms or anywhere else you think you'll find unsuspecting victims. 3,568,305,284) Do whatever it takes to boost your score. Kill unarmed or even afk players to show your 1337ness. The man with the high score is always the winner. 9 X 10^34) When the server is almost or entirely full, go afk or just plain idle so that if you ever decide to go pwn again you don't have to worry about not being able to get back into the server. 9 X 10^9999999999999999) More about the message board. Got something to say? Make a new topic! Got nothing to say? Make a new topic! The number of topics you create is proportional to the 1337ness of you. Watch other posts to see how you can get the distrincion of "Spammer" (spam is an age old term of the intraweb that actually means "Superior post asserting Mastery". Ask, beg, plead if you have to! Make sure you get a master ASAP! Also, do whatever it takes to become a Knight, JAT, or JAC! Money, babies, drugs, sexual favors, whatever it takes! m00) No matter what anyone says, we are a clan! Use our tags, start clan battles, kill people who doubt our 1337ness, flame the noobs! Show the net what we're made of! I hope this has been both an enducaitonal and informative lesson and that it can help all of our newest members to find greatness. _______________ I must not fear . completely and utterly true, all of it the really sad thing is that i could read point 6 as well as i could all the others... apparently i'm fluent in 1337 it says, "Never talk in a way that other people could possibly understand you. Leet speak is a good way to ensure this, but bad grammar and spelling work too." (if you want me to get rid of the translation, i will... just remember that for true unintelligibility, one must use palaver in a manner that surpasses the comprehehnsion of the majority of the "Elite Hacker" community of ne'er-do-wells and likewise.)
