Ok so i got MGS2 for my PS2 on friday and i completed it by Monday, now dont get me wrong the game itself was probably one of the best and most intense games i've played for a long time. But my Problem comes with the FMV cut-scenes, now someone tell me is it really nessacery for them to last for so long, yes i understand it unfolds the story etc... but the codec is used wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much, the scene before i fought solidus as raiden must of lasted about 45mins in total, now to me thats a little to long all i could think after 20 mins was holy shit i sure hope i dont die  and the mere fact i ordered and ate pizza during this cut scene goes to show its a little long.Well this is my only problem with it really, i will probably play through it again for all the dog tags. MGS2 is probably the most intense game I have ever played. Period. Raiden's backstory far surpasses any in the series, and is also the most well-constructed charachter I have ever seen. Face it, you need that kind of cutscene to recover between sections.  Well....okay...except for Sephiroth..... _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. Haha yeah, the cutscenes and FMV's are -way- too long, but with pizza they're liveable Shooting peoples radio, and both knee caps is fun as I recall Or any other limbs of your choice. That game pwned!!! I too was upset with the all the story that went on with the game. Hopefully they got enough complaints and Snake Eater will flow with much more game play and action. Looks very intense from what I have seen. So...what's the problem? But yeah, I agree, 45 minutes for one cutscene, maybe a little too long.
