here we are again guys. hope you likey. OMG...MOTREC you dont know these moves? ... atleast thats what LordExarKun must have thought when i joined his class.  here i am dueling, losing, and having fun. i dont remember which had asked me virtue or hardwired,but, i was asked "have you gone to LordExarKun's duals class yet?" see i didnt really know that classes were held and that we had a classes server.DUH! /me slaps head. so once i learned of this i signed up for LordExarKun's class. wow! all i can say is wow! this server was packed with students like me. during my first 15 minutes i met my padawan uncle (darkblades paddy) koushka. koushka sort of took this new guy under his wing in class and helped me get some of these hard ass moves LordExar was teaching.(buzzsaw and combos) well ill tell you what once i learned these moves i started adding them and soon i was consistantly doing well in dueling.(with a touch of rollstab too )LordExarKun was very kind and always made sure everyone was up to speed on the moves he was teaching before he moved on. which ill tell you, he waited for me to catch up alot. i must have saw him type "koushka could help motrec with this plz" atleast 2 times a class. but once i had the help the moves came to me pretty good. i would just like to say that at this point in the game for me i was thinkin about switching to single because i was utterly bad with duals but LordExarKun said to me "stick with it motrec. you are getting better and not everyone picks this stuff up as fast as the others. so hang in there youll do great." so i stuck with them to see how good i would get. i was actually making the mistake of basing my skills off of the ranked members. this is a huge mistake to make and i learned my lesson quickly. thank you LordExarKun!!  now i didnt write the manual on dueling with dual sabres LordExarKun did and i have just added some things here and there to what he has already written. alot of the great duals users skill are founded in Exars teachings. maybe you know some of them...koushka, zoro kakashi, lackey, koolaide, and too many more to mention lol. aurochs pwn j000...at this point me and the guys (teamspeak crew) were hanging out steadily and all was well. i was progressing nicely in dueling and the guys werent laughing so much anymore at the way i dueled (oh cripes thank god!) one day i was on messenger chatting with quiet guardian when aphex had added me to his list of messenger contacts. he then messaged me and we chatted for like 2 hours and he said "mo your an alright guy. we have an opening on the aurochs, would you like to try out?" im like "are you serious?" and he said "totally" so i tried out for the aurochs and got in. i remember my first and only match oh how could i forget. it was qg,leif,janus,me,and 3th.we went against this clan and the first matched we scrambled about while leif was taking heads lol. i mean these guys were spamming katas and were dropping us like flies and the mighty janus said "guys stay in teams of 2 and split them up" so we did but for that match it was too late. the next round we did that and ill tell ya what i have never in my life seen so much game carnage as i did in that round!!!! we were luring these guys in one at a time and we were knocking them down bad. so then i got the idea to be funny and so i commenced to leading these guys straight to leif which meant they were dead ofcourse. LOL so we would get health when needed i would lead them to leif and qg when i could and wasnt dieing (which i did alot of) most of their scores i think were from me thinking i was invinceable lol soz guys. but we won the second round and lost the third cuz they caught on to what we were doing and put a stop to it. it was fun as all hell yeah!!! and after the match one of the guys sent aphex an email basically saying that even though leif was a hacker (literally meant it) they won and that we should not allow hackers on our team in the future.LMAO!!!!! these guys all they did was spam specials,katas and stay together so they wouldnt die all leif did was circle around them hacking their heads off. aphex told the guy in a nice way that leif was a great duelist and not to accuse anymore. noteriety...as all this was going on and i was dueling like a mofo i started catching the eyes of the ranked members. how or why i dont know but hey they were having fun with me so i didnt mind or even know this til after a few asked some rather odd questions of me about the game and myself. by this time i was showing maybe 3 or 4 people some stuff i had learned with dual sabres each time i was on the server and i was going to my pad classes and db's pad classes (db is my grandmaster, katan's master) so i was learning how funny db was and met all db's pads such as koushka, tallepyon, shang chi, and leo. these guys made me laugh so hard sometimes i swear that any harder i would have peed my pants. db is a disc jockey/comedian in a high schoolers body. and katan was the butt of his jokes sometimes which i didnt like but they were good friends and i let it slide. i mean noone makes fun of katan with me around just ask luke he will tell you.lol soz bout that luke. what katan? you and rebel infantry are friends?!! one night on beta 2, luke renamed to rebel infantry and started talking crap to and about katan. this got me angry and (i always laugh when i tell this story) i told "rebel infantry" that if he didnt shut up i was gonna make him suffer! well katan stops me and says "MOTREC thats luke you dork!" and i said "so tell him to shut up with the crap!" and katan says "jacen, luke, and i always talk like this to eachother" and then i felt like a major ass and i apologized to luke as sincerely as i could in text, tucked my tail between my legs, grabbed my ball and went home lol. i felt real bad after that and that ended my overreacting phase with everyone. when you jump the gun you make yourself look bad and you do poorly. just stay reserved with a calm head and i bet youll do alot better. hope you guys like this portion of my journey and the next will be here next week or yet this week depending on how this is recieved. have fun guys MOTREC This post was edited by MOTREC on Sep 14 2004 03:15pm. |

The mail Aphex got he actually posted in the private section of the JAA forums, so I did a little digging around for it and got the ok to post it from Aratan. There was a mix up in the screen shots we posted afterwards that had the third one be wrong, there was a thread in the JAA forums that has since be moved and disappeared and the start of the mail gives a link(doesn’t work anymore) to there pics which still has a news post on the JAA site if anyone wants to check it out. Anyway needless to say we had fun picking holes in the letter afterwards, I’ve censored the more colourful language and put some notes at the end about certain lines, enjoy. We looked into the server log because we all noticed how JAA could see what we were saying in team chat. Basicly your clan strat was to run away turning it into a 5 on 2 and so 3 of your players could just live and give us less chances to get kills. Well, in game 2 the lameness worked. But, I wasn't born yesterday... and I saw what was going on so in game 3 we adjusted and got the win. Tell Leif I'd love to know the trick/hack/exploit he has to get so many 1hit kills with red swings over and over again.... Even with his trick I'll still beat him in a 1v1 duel because I am equally as good with all 3 saber hilts. He had so many kills in the games because he was the only one basicly doing any fighting at all... and with his trick/hack for 1hit kills on every swing, it wasn't too hard. His ping was in the 30's so that also helped him. But, ping won't give 1hit kills on every swing... it's something else. And it has nothing to do with skill or even yaw because i saw no yaw in his swings. Anyway, it was a challenge due to the fact we had to chase your clan all over. It took 2 hours to play 3 games! LOL, that's b*******. Anyway, thanks for playing. No hard feelings. It just would have been nice if your clan would have actually "played" instead of "played around".
