You know the way in ur display pic in ur profile u can only use 30k can u not like upgrade it or something cuz i keep gettin an error msg that my file is too big and its annoying can u not like make it about 100k? or something close? _______________ i cant think of nething smart to put here......  |

I sometimes view this site at a friend's house (he has a 56k, yes, a lot of people still have those) and it's nice and fast. Besides, if you know your graphic programs it's easy to get very high quality images well under the size limit. Check out my pic for example.  -Ken  |

having a server donated to all of us to enjoy for free does NOT suck  so if we have to have limits on images so we don't suck bandwidth like some kind of cheap vacuum then so be it. and if i we could get better server performance by not allowing avatar pics at all you'd see a new crusade from me _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |

Im quite cool with the file size as it is...nearly all non-animative pics with the max. height and width get below 30kb in jpeg format... And as grad already said...if we would upgrade it to 100kb then the server had to work 3x more on EACH user...which would result in much longer loading times..
