Ah well, port 80 is good for IRC, but still it uses the TCP protocol and we need something to tunnel UDP packets through a TCP port... _______________ Get on your feet and do the Funky Alfonzo! |

I'm not entirely sure how these college firewalls work, but if they're anything like what I've had to deal with before they simply block incoming and outgoing ports. If the firewall isn't installed on your computer it should have no idea what program is running off what port. So, is it possible that you could make JK run off another port (I was thinking something like port 80, that shouldn't be blocked). Just a suggestion from someone with very little networking experience.  _______________ A wizard did it. |

Hi I have the same problem, I cant get through my university firewall to play JA and its driving me mad. I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit more detail on how to get past it, as I'm not too good with this stuff, and just saying to proxy at me wont mean much, you might as well shout 'banana!'.
