Alright boys and girls. In exactly 8 hours I begin to move out of this appartment and in to my new one. This will be the last post I make here until I can get my connection set up in the new place. They told me that it could take as much as 10 workdays. Lets hope they get it done fast.  This means of course that all my classes and padawan sessions are on hold until I get back. So...stay out of trouble and I'll see you when I come out on the other side..  cheerio - HW [edit] I have spoken several times to my isp about fixing my connection speed. I have also done my own reseach into my systems. And tonight I came to insight on the problem. It seems my phoneline into this appartment is of very poor quality. You can hear it just by talking on the phone. Out sounds normal but in sounds terrible. Im going to speak with my landlord about it but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting it replaced. I will probably have to hook myself up to the fibre line that exists in this appartment already. But I have to wait until my current connection contract runs out (cause I can't pay two connections at once). So either I get the lines fixed (not likely). Or I wont have full speed until I switch isp's...And that will be about 3 months counting from monday. If Im stuck with this speed for 3 months im gonna look into if I can still game and hold classes. If I can't I will only be in the JA on a purely administrative level. But fear not. Either way I will be here. Im not going anywhere. I just wont be gaming online as much in a while. [The final edit] Ok. I have now gotten my 8 mbit connection installed and working. This means im 100 % back. Now...I won't be doing classes or padawan sessions until next week. I need a week to get the rust out of my system and get back into the loop. Like what speed are you getting mate? Or is it just really inconsistent? I'm pretty sure you would be able to deal with anything better than dial-up, so qiut making excuses and get back here man.  _______________ A wizard did it. |
