lols I love this game and want to try some MP but I cant find any servers from my area of the world, that being Australia! I got DSL but it aint fast enough to give me decent ping with any servers I can find. If anyone knows of a good server that will alow a complete novice to play let me know thx. Ah, welcome to the ja. The home/classes server should be giving you a ping in the 200's range, or thereabouts, as you have adsl. Wireplay would give you a bit higher, 300's - 400's. I play at about 500 ping anyway, so 200 shouldn't be a problem for you at all. As for Australian servers, there are a few, but most are supplied by gamearena. You will need a program called 'COGS', though i'm not too familiar with it, i've never bothered trying to get it. There are still a few around. Try getting a program called 'The All-Seeing Eye'. Hi. I think you'll find everyone here loves playing with girls (maybe a little too much, but thats a whole other thing ). Which corner of Australia are you from? I am from Perth myself. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of low ping servers for JA where we live, but there are a few. What us aussies need to do is organise to go and play on them together, and find out which and where the best ones are. But don't be afraid to come on the home server (or even *gulp* wireplay, land of 400ms ping) and meet the people who frequent there. Sure, it's not as good as having a sub 100 ping, but you'll still learn something and hopefully have a bit of fun. By the way, welcome to the academy. Welcome aboard If you have DSL, your ping should be around 200 something on all US servers. And probably a bit higher on wireplay. However, this guy might help you lower it by using some commands in the game console. Heya Im not quite sure if the Wireplay or the Home Server give you a better ping but err...ive seen xan running around with a pretty good ping (around 200) on one of them...
