 Just wanted to give the heads up that recently (to my knowledge) www.jk3files.com is containing trojan exploits....opening up the download pages of that site made my active anti-virus protection alert me to the trojan/trojans that was detected there. That site has been good for everyone but I think something new has happened and its just not a safe place anymore....below is the report from my anti-virus alert....you have been warned.C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\0DOTQ3GL\c[1].htm - HTML.IFrame!exploit trojan. C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\index.dat - unable to open file - not scanned. C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\KLC7OJ4Z\l[1].exe - Win32.Reckmess.A!downloader trojan. _______________ 4/20/2005----Left the academy because I did'nt feel welcomed. I did a little experimenting and I've discovered what it was. The day I was getting stuff of that site the servers themselves were cluttered with trojans. Since then everything seems clean because I'm not able to download anything from there without any alerts...shew. _______________ 4/20/2005----Left the academy because I did'nt feel welcomed. |

Yeah I know the report doesnt say I got it from the site. However that was the report my scanner gave me right after it was detected so I copied and pasted it. Oh well issue solved I guess. My computer is running at full capacity. And I've started to use another site www.lucasfiles.com.....so far so good.... _______________ 4/20/2005----Left the academy because I did'nt feel welcomed. |

I am 100% certain these came from jk3files.com mainly because like I said AS SOON as I went to the download page my scanner detected the trojan. And another reason why I know is because my computer was totally clean and running good untill I went there and started to download. I got everything from there off my system and now everything works fine. Maybe it was just something in their servers temporarily I do not know but as of yesterday I'm avoiding that site. I dont have any reason to lie about this I'm just letting others aware of what happened so take it as you will. _______________ 4/20/2005----Left the academy because I did'nt feel welcomed. |
