Awesome. I remember reading this article at an airport nearly a year before I actually signed up to the JA - Very interesting read!

Poke was never part of the JA. I agree that poke is an atrocity though - it, alongside the sometimes terrible hit detection and commonly random deflection/block/parrying mechanics, is something that ruined the game for me in the end. _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here! Yeah it's a nice article and good to read about the good old days. I don't think scissors were 'the worst of the JA' though, not even bad. I think the scissor is a very practical and useful combo. Unless you mean it would have been nice if we had taught additional styles more (red, blue, hybrid, staff, duals, etc) - I agree with that. This article perfectly summarizes everything that was best (social aspects, classes) and also everything that was worst about this place (scissors, vlad). I still remember that the top right picture on the second page was the first ever screenshot teaser of the v3 map that we got.
