UPDATE 12/24 Well, this was absolutely unexpected, but I/we (the girl I made this bet with) have called it off. At this point I am almost positive I will still make it, cause this started out as the most fun thing ever, and turned into one of the worst (not having anything at all to do with the bet though) So, this girl I made the bet with is a girl I work with and she is Indian, so basically think strict "Catholic" morals. The bet itself was just another form of flirting, either way no one was supposed to lose, if I made we were going on an awesome date, if I didnt make it I was throwing her an awesome party. In the mean time we were taking things slow and getting to know each other. Yup, it was working, and it "was" working awesome. Then she went to L.A. for a friends wedding. Her bosses friend was at the wedding for only one reason, to tell her about a new job opening at this startup company out in Palo Alto, CA (We live in Ann Arbor, MI) Yep, he handed her, her dream job, a full relocation check, and a cost of living adusted salary + a 15% raise, and a truck load of stock options. So her options are that, or me in MI with long cold winters and little culture. Im sure you can guess what she choose (who wouldnt) So Hopefully those, who laugh at the beginning can still look back and laugh, when things were good they were amazing. Unfortunely all good things must come to an end, as did this just far to soon in my opinion. Merry Christmas all I am going to take a very long nap, and hopefully wakeup after Valintines Day, cause there is nothing worse than dealing with "The Holiday Season, lonely" P.S. For those that dont know the holiday season starts at Thanksgiving and ends at Valintines Day Nov. 24th (Thanksgiving) Dec. 25th (Christmas) Jan. 1st (New Years) Feb. 14th (Valintines Day) UPDATE 12/09 I didnt think I was gonna have any news for a while, but in about 4 hours I am going to Florida to visit a buddy of mine, with another buddy of mine. The guy Im going with works for the airline so were supposidly going 1st class for like $30 each, I have no clue what flights really cost but I hear that this is amazing. So here is how that fits in with this story: We are taking a "specific" flight cause there are two stewartesses he knows that usually give him liquor for free and one has introduced him to the "mile high club" Yup in case you didnt guess by now, her friend saw a picture and thinks I am cute, so not only will pretty girls in cute uniforms be giving me free alchol, but there is a chance that one will want more, and of course they have one day of downtime in Florida with us....................... As I type this I realize, this is literally insane. Things like this happen to me like once a year at most, it hasnt even been two weeks, since this bet started. Someone hates me and is rallying girls from everywhere to want me, and freaking complaining! ------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 12/06 Ok so a quick update and just answering a few questions I have heard. This is based SOLELY on the honor system, and I will be honest. To those who say it is impossible, prepare to be proved wrong! Nothing is impossible. I will not be with another girl, or "take care of myself" Although due to the way the male body is cronstructed, there is a chance that my body will decide I am not doing a good job while awake, and cause me a "release" in my sleep, but that is something I have no control over and hence can not be used as criteria to cause me to lose. THE GOOD Things are actually going amazing. I have channeled almost all of my sexual frustration into other aspects of my life. (no im not humping my desk or anything like that, yet) I have started exercising again, and it awesome, Im far more productive, at school and work. THE BAD The one downside, I went out to the bar this weekend with a girl who is just a friend, and she was telling all the girls we talked to, wether we knew them or not, about this bet and they all thought it was hilarious, and some thought they could get me to fail that night. I had two hot girls on each side of me, I was plastered drunk, and my bar tab came to $7.00, yes I had hot girls getting "me" liquored up and trying to take advantage of me. I literally had to run out of the bar, and leap into a taxi, my conversation with the cab dirver went something close to this: Him: Um I actaully came to pick some other people up Me: Um I really gotta go, hot girls are trying to make me have sex with them. Him: (Gives me the best, "wtf is wrong with you look" ever) Me: Uh, ill double the fair, just drive Him: Deal! So hopefully your all still enjoying laughing at me, I know I am. ---------------------- Ok so its actually 62 days but, Im assuming a good amount of people have seen that movie. Starting December 1st 2004, a girl I work with bet, me I couldn't go until Febuary 1st w/o having sex. No sex No kissing No self-pleasure Nothing....... So all day I was working, went to the gym, did homework, played guitar, laundry, etc. At 10pm things start to fall apart, in a serious way. 1.) This insanely hot girl I have been talking to, calles me up totally wasted and asks if I wanna come over and "watch a movie" Me: "Uh, no I got a lot of work of to do." immediately hang up the phone 2.) My ex-girlfriend hears this through the grape-vien, call me up not even 2 minutes after I get out of the shower, and proposes things that I am fairly certain are illegal in some states. This was the "1st" day. Ok so for the terms. If I fail, I must through a party pay for all the booze, invite all the guests, organize, host, clean-up and etc, all in her honor. If I win, I get: 1.) A date with her. Ok so it seems unbalanced, but the date can be in any city in the continental US, and will last an entire weekend, and the only that I will have to pay for is my bar bill if it exceeds $100.00 per night. So this should be a pretty interesting winter, I will definitely let everyone know who wins, and if people seem interested I will post interesting things that happen along the way.
