| Trouble Connecting to the Servers 12/17/04 Still doesnt work! | |

I'm having trouble connecting to the servers. I've copied the IP and P-Word for the server on a piece of paper correctly (I checked). I tuin on to Jedi Acadmey, and I click new favorite. Now, I put in the IP, refresh the list, and I get the IP I put in, not the server name shown in the holocron. Will someone help me? This post was edited by rust on Dec 17 2004 04:23am. |

Are you kidding? The computers in this house would burn in 2 minutes if the firewall was off. We get at least 50 hacks a day. I'll find out the name of the fire wall in a couple of hours. I need to wait for my dad to get home. |

If you use norton, you may have to disable it. Also something... I doubt this is the problem, but it was for me. And at the top, I check the settings and sometimes certain things are set to what would disqualify the server from the favorties. Ok, now that I probably confused you, im off to bed. All of the Academy servers have been having the odd down time. Wireplay down today, USA Servers down the other day - you may have just caught them at a bad time. |

I've been having the same problem lately, and I know I have the right IP's....since they haven't changed (i should know, i checked). The servers may have been down while you were trying to connect. But they're up now. If you still see only the IP after you refresh, try refreshing a few more times. That usually clears it up for me _______________ Be at peace, and you will discover things you never dreamed possible. |

No, you have to be logged in to see the IP as well. You can always see our servers on ASE, but that's not the point. For players who aren't registered with the site, it shouldn't be that easy for them to find our servers.
