Now i watched the SW trilogy on DVD during the week, and well does Boba fett die at the mighty sarlac or is that just a n00b bounty hunter?? i never really paid much attention to the lesser characters in SW. I hope i am mistaken but im not sure i have seen many other Bounty Hunters except Greedo in the first one. _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

The only times you play as Kyle during Vaders lifetime is Darkforces one and two. Which comes to the conclusion that the boba Fett you meet in jk3 is either an imposter like you say (which i doubt :S) or a clone maybe?... That is one of the mysteries of jk3... wtf is boba Fett doing in it? Still I stand by my word that Boba Fett is dead, and not much could persuade me otherwise. Even seeing him in a video game set after his death. Facts about different events in Boba Fett's life are supposed to be contradictory and shrouded. It's this very mystery that makes Fett such an intriuging character. If only one story about Fett was accepted as true, where's the fun in that? There isn't one book in the Expanded Universe that's more true than another. Star Wars fans are encouraged to read all these books and form a view of a certain character that suits themselves. Boba Fetts 'moment' is in his past.... in my oppinion he died in the Sarlaac.. or Saarlac.. or however you spell it.. either way Boba Fett had his time to shine in his past.. people can write novels about his past adventures but alot of them change what happened after he got chewed on.. or mushed.. or ... yeah. To be honest, theres a large part of his history that fans can explore... Lucas' position on this is that if he knew how big a fanbase Boba Fett would have then he wouldn't have killed him off. Its my opinion he escaped because I am a fan of Boba Fett, that with GL's comments in the DVD Commentary form my opinion. Straying a bit off topic, whats this about the Sarlacc absorbing consciousness'? I vaguely remember something about a Jedi Master being eaten by the Sarlacc causing the Sarlacc and the Jedi Master's minds to merge, thusly allowing the Sarlacc to communicate with its victems. If you visit starwars.com, someone asked the concept development team the same question, and they answered that george lucas considered bobba fett had died in epi 6. However, he does accept fett as being alive in the expanded universe...So basicly he's dead according to movies, but alive according to novels. |

Actually Tales from Jabba's Palace give a better description of how the Sarlaac works. It absorbs those it eats and their consciousness still remains inside it somehow, so while Fett was being slowly digested people were talking to him.
