Lucasarts has announced a new game they're working on called Star Wars: Empire At War. Its a RTS set before the events of Episode IV. I actually would like to see a game where the whole life of a jedi is integrated. Like Xhysa said, but it would be a mix of: Fable, GTA series, Jedi Academy, Shenmue (the time system), The Sims, and KOTOR. If someone can develop that kind of game, I would wrestle a polar bear to get it. So, in effect, you would start off as a baby, choose what to do, like biting your dad in the nose, which will affect ur force side. Then you actually grow up (you can simulate this), and then go to the Jedi Council. Your training determines ur class, ur abilities, and then you get the whole galaxy to yourself. You have to repair your ship... There are stray asteroids, with different slug species, etc. Of course, this probably will require at least a 5 GHz processor, about 2056 DDR RAM, but hey, a guy can dream, can't he? _______________ "To become a greater man, you must be a lesser one first." Bah. Star Wars: Rebellion. Best Star Wars Strategy game there was. That simply kicked ass for it's time. Still a sweet game. I wonder if anyone remembers it, it's like, 7 years old. they need an immersive FPS SP game, kind of like kotor, but more action based. Screw missions, I prefer more like the galaxy of KOTOR, but without mission limitations. Kind of like a cross between GTA and Jedi Academy. Go WHEREEVER you want, do whatever you want, and it affects you. Yeah I would like to see an after Ep 6 FPS as a rebel or something. I love RTS games but Galatic Battlegrounds was poor, treated you like an immature child because it was deisgned for children. _______________ Rawr.

While we're talking about RTS games here, I'm disappointed that noone's mentioned Starcraft or the Homeworld series - IMO the best RTS games out there. Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on it too - if only for the graphics. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

How about playing the role of a Stormtrooper as you go through Basic Training, rise from Private, to PFC, to Corporal, to Sergeant, then attend Officer Candidate School/Carida and become a Lieutenant, and finally become a Captain all set on the backdrop of the Galactic Civil War. That would be interesting. Or the Rebel Equivilent with resistance flavoured missions as opposed to oppression flavoured missions. _______________ Some friends wear pants, some don't. |

Rome is the ultimate strategy (or any other Total War).
