Quote: hmm i cant see any pin hole ![]() Just check for a very small hole anywhere on the front of the drive. As I said, it's usually next to the eject button. Although, it could be on the other side of the tray. If you still can't find it, you can always take the drive out of the computer and manually open it that way. There is a chance that you will ruin the motor that automatically opens and closes the tray this way, but there is also a chance that the drive is already ruined. But, before you do any of that, you should try taking it to a repair shop. ![]() _______________ - Proud padawan of Kueller. - We really are at the beginning of it all. Just so you know, most disc drives have a munual release in them. There is a little pinhole right next to the eject button. All you need is a paperclip. Stick one end in the hole, and it will feel like you're pressing a button. Just keep pushing and the disc drive will open up, allowing you to take the disc out. Don't just shove it in though, all you need to do is push it a little bit. If that doesn't work, you might need a new drive. _______________ - Proud padawan of Kueller. - We really are at the beginning of it all.
