Just wanted to know if/when there will be a Jedi Knight 4 as in my oppinion I think the star wars eps 3 game looks a bit like a JK game so could it be the replacement? :S ps. ok, lets get this straight, star wars episode three would suck online, I mean you hack at each otehr multipel times in versus without killing each other and you can not do a skill one hit killed, its liek playing soul calibur or something in versus mode. The single on the other hand, I might say it is the ultimate jedi action single player expiernce,but there is a bunch of combo based stuff and less on timing and all that, and it really would not be good for a huge community game. (especiialy when fighitng each other a slice is not like a lethal hit like it is in the jedi knight series, you hit each other as often as soul calibur or other versus games.) To put it short jedi academy will last, until it is extremely out dated when the new title comes out, so peopel still buying the game today will not be gipped right away by a seqeul coming out, plus the game has been heavily built on for mods and all that. _______________ "Darkness is simply the absence of Light" "Is it not easier to snuff out the light completely than to make no shadow or darknes at all and create pure light?" Although, if you think about it, The Jedi Knight/Dark Forces series has been a long time in coming, to begin with. Dark Forces was when? 1995? And then Jedi Knight had to have been 1996-97? JK2 was not until 2002, and jk3 was in 2003. JK2 and JK3 came out in relatively short order from each other (year and a half), but the series had been around for a while. I would guess no JK4 in short order, like everything else. But since it is a valued series for LucasArts, I would guess they would develop it in some amount of time. Probably not until late 2006 if even. Just give it time, then. Definately will NOT be one anytime soon. LUcasarts has their plate full with a lot of other Episode III things. But they'll see some of them flop, and then remember the franchise of Jedi Knight, and hopefully make another one of those. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. In KOTOR2, they go through many conversations talking about before the events in KOTOR1, then they talk about events after KOTOR1. If Revan was a light-sider, then it frequently sounds like you made the wrong choice when you were talking to Atton, and you made Revan a dark-sider. But that's just bad story-telling on Obsidian's part. I hope they don't screw up NWN2. _______________ slorp |

I say once Episode III the Game and the Movie are released and said and done there might be a good chance on a Jedi Knight 4. But I would'nt hold my breathe because knowing Lucas Arts they will make about 10 Episode III games for about every platform like they did for Episode I (i.e. podracer, phantom menace, starfighter). _______________ 4/20/2005----Left the academy because I did'nt feel welcomed. |

bah those kids are real 1337... my brother was in usa and searched for a quick job. found the ice cream cars job and to make it more fun one day he saw some dudes driving in porsche. ofcourse he beated them with that ice cream car on ordinary speed show of city roads oh yeah those dudes in porsche are cool ^^ anyway why create crap and get nothing? better create really good game and get lots of money... _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
