It has come to my attention that the JA has become very inactive. The last post on "News" was on March 9th by Virtue. Since then, no news. In this instance, I don't believe no news is good news. There have been talks about retirement from certain members that I would never have thought to hear it from. Has the JA become, dare I say, boring. No one wants to put forth any effort anymore. I would, but it's hard to do things without the power. I am not on the servers everyday, but I do check my profile everyday. It's been awhile since anyone has posted to my profile, so it seems as though I have been inactive for awhile, but this is far from true. I just want to know, has the JA become too boring for even it's highest ranked members. WTF? _______________ Padawan for life to Motrec. Godspeed to all that enter my realm. The JA is far from boring - if you look, you'll see that the 'New Members' list is updated very frequently. Inactive? Everytime I refresh my server list there are lots of people on home!  Gradius makes a good point though, disrespect is a big factor on people leaving. _______________ You are not your f***ing system specs. It all depends where you look. Wireplay is getting full nearly every night. But the home server barely gets up to 10 at it's peak some nights. There hasn't been any news until today, but that's just because there was nothing really newsworthy. Make of that what you will. Sometimes even this forum has gone inactive for a whole day, but then the next there will be 10 new threads. Also, the classes paged got stuck for a week or so, and that kinda messed with a few classes (and may cause trouble for a couple more) however that has been fixed now, so hopefully learning can get back to normal. A few JAK/JAT are busy with RL at this time, and are unable to spend as much time here as they would like, but others were/are pushing ahead with new and different ideas and projects. So yes, there is an amount of inactivity on the one hand, but if you look at the broader picture the JA is as active as ever. _______________ A wizard did it. |

Seeing as I lately played a lot on the servers... I can safely say the servers are NOT inactive... WP server was even full some times... Summer is coming up soon, and that's usually the busy months for the JA. People have been working, going to school, alot of things. Also, people are complaining about the respect in the JA going way down hill, which I find to be true. And this causes alot of people not to be active on our servers too often. This has happened before, the JA has had it's slumps, but we always work our way out of it together. We have plans for upcoming events, but they are surprises. But, as for now, it's going at a slow pace. But it will pick up again. It is spring break time for a lot of people.in the states and such.. I my self have been extremly busy the past few months from finishing up college to flying around doing a job interview to packing up and moving, and now having a full time job in the gaming industry which consumes alot of my time. Not to mention my old ISP was horrible and game playing online was just about out of the question.
