Padawan / Master thingy :)

Just a question...

About ppl looking for a Master / Padawan, I'd also like to know are we talking about JKA or JK2.

Or does that mean that, for example, Masters "have" to be Masters in both games?

I personally think that I could give a hand to someone who plays jk2 and wants to know about NF dueling, but in JKA I am the... no... THE Padawan with big P.

These games are from different planet what comes to dueling...

Suggestion

1. Different topics to Padawan / Master lookings for each game

2. Ppl would be more spesific which game they play and what they'd like to learn / teach.

I think that I'm average (yes, I sometimes lose too :P)NF duelist in JK2 (btw... would like to have great duels with ppl in JA...)and I have played that game since year 1 and 2 :P

I'm active in jk2 scene, I'm a member of a great clan in Europe, and STILL I'm learning new things in this game :)

What does other ppl think of this? :)

I would also like to point out that many JAK+ don't look actively for a padawan. Perhaps every so often we come across a student that catches out eye. But many times it is the other way around. A student come up to you on the servers and asks you. Then you take the time to have a closer look...

Hang in there. Eventually everyone stands out in their own right.

Muvoc, we don't have as many ranked members here to compensate for all of the students. And, we're only allowed ot have a certain number of padawans at a time. Patience is the key to it all, as well as attending classes. Nobody will think about taking someone else on as a padawan if they don't know them at all. ;)

They don't have to be masters in both games. Lets face it. It is an old game..and as such most haave moved on. Granted there are a few around that still plays JK2. I personaly don't even have it installed anymore.

Being a master can be to many diffrent degrees. In terms of games, styles or stances. IIt is all subjective to the master.

As of the thread bit. As Squib said...If they are looking for a JK2 master. Then state so...If not..then people will assume it to be JK3.

Yep... Sounds sad, but true... But hey. I just wish that there's still players in JA - community who want to improve themselves in jk2 :)

I'm with this 100%

FiZZ was my master in JK2. I moved to JK3 when he was ready and he was still my master. He RETIRED from the JA and he is STILL my master. Soon hopefully he will start full starcraft training...

Of course you can abandon a master or be dropped but you shouldnever lose a master due to game related isssue. (obviously all IMO).

I would assume all Master/padawan requests in the pinned threads are all JK3 only (as far as training content is concerended). Unless stated otherwise. just post the request and itilicise, bolden, underline and capitalike JEDI OUTCAST. People will notice it if anyone is interested.
