Hi guys. I just ahd a weird idea (like usually at midnight).
See, without the ranks, some guys may be a bit aimless, what to do here. "Learn" is quite unspecific. So i thought, well whats the goal in a real school? High school graduations, A-levels, Abitur... whatever. All schools have a final exam after that you're "free" and you maybe study or whatever. So... why not have something similar to the Jedi Academy? You can take an JA-exam any time you want whith certain criteria. Like: Aeth S'kray -------------------------- Duel: won 1 of 10 (he sucks) CTF: his team lost 2 vs 4 Full force: he got owned Performed Moves: ----rDFA (varations: kick rDFA, air rDFA, etc) ----yDFA (variations) ----combos (double spin, triple spin, etc) it should be just for fun and you can stay after your exam as well. think it might be a funny thing to show a clan you might want to join, they'd go like: "ooh, visited a school" or to have a link next to your profile. it's just an idea though, i know it good be easly misinterpretated like the ranks... why not tell me your ideas on it? how could you prevent those guys only focus on that? cheers _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 |

I suppose I can make the site keep track of what classes you've attended and when... that would be a pain in the butt though. Oh yeah and would require an instructor to check that you attended. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

Acey, with what you said...it wouldn't really work because whether or not a student has taken the prequesite class, if they want to just join the server at the time the class is on, nothing is going to stop them. So it would mean JATs checking up on people to see whether they have taken the classes before, therefore making a lot of work and that's not to good just before a class. For example a new person joins at the last minute, then the JAT would have to check then. They are good ideas, but I really don't think they would work out. _______________ ~Arca Jeth~ |

Well i guess theres no real way to git rid of People's EGO's, especially if it is through the roof, people think it's a bad idea, but thinking myself, we do need something just to, well there's no way i can put it without crossing a line which has already been closed..I thought the points system was ok, but now without it, anyone is gonna join ANY Class, for instance, one of hte classes said that only Journeyman and Knights could enroll. and well, now anyone is gonna enrol in it.. what i guess we need is a Class Criteria, or even something in peoples profiles that a JAT or JAK could tick off per person. similar to the main idea, like i Know there are some people are there. hell even i was at a time, who had trouble with the Initial moves i.e. DFA, Lunge and stuff, and it would take up JAT's time having to Re Teach everyone so he can Eventually Teach his class.
so i'm guessing we need a class prerequisite, I.e. like having completed an earlier class, or being good at certain moves...like in some of the new classes i've seen, there being a part one and two, and you can do part two unless you've done part one....well tell me what you think..thanks.. _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos.
