1) You can enable cheats for playing demos; you don't have to enable them while recording. That's a myth. 2) /cl_avidemo 60, et voila, you have slowed it down to half the original pace. |

Masta, the timescale command only works when the server has cheats enabled... Only way I could get it to work nice and smooth is to run a single player MP game and then record the demo Furthermore, I am one of those guys that suggested doing a JA movie before... But from my point of view now, the JA is something you experience, not something a demo or movie can explain... _______________ Get on your feet and do the Funky Alfonzo! |

While were at it...does anyone know how to make that slow-motion effect for a movie? Ive tried to add it while using /avidemo with /timescale, but if i do that im getting "connection interrupted" all the time lol As if the slowing down of the timescale command would be recognized as lag in the demo...kinda weird. Anyway, anyone has a clue how to do it correctly? Edit:\\ And yes, the timescale command worked while watching the demo.The demo actually went slower/faster after using the timescale command. Thing is though...the demo recognizes this slow-downness of the timescale command as LAG.It gives me a "connection interrupted" error all the time (but the demo keeps going smooth...more or less smooth). _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here!
