ehmm, hey, jus wonderin is ther actually a percific place 4 askin 4 help about say problems with ur computer or games woteva. cus like ive posted a few times now and got hardly any replys, apart from a few thoughtful ppl. HELLO is ther any actual JAK+ out ther who would help, i mean i posted on orions help desk, an guess wot got no reply, i thought JAK+ r meant to b here to help out, yea ok they cant b every at once, but would b nice to have help wiv problems. even tho students should help outaswell if they can  . whether any of the JAK+s wil actually reply to this i doubt.... sorry to seem so negative.. -SoL- _______________ RaiN!+ThundeR! http://www.myspace.com/solomongrist |

I've just gone back about 5 or 6 pages in academy discussion, and I only see one other thread that you've made, in which the gracious Setementor had answered your question. I can't see anywhere else that you've gone and asked questions without being attended to. Not all the JAK+ are techies. I can tell you right now, I know zero about computers, other than basic operations, and running games. There is no point posting if there is nothing useful to post, you should know that. The JAK+ do help where they can. They are volunteers, not servants. They take the time out of their lives to make this place better for you guys. Orion, for example, has a life and a kickass job, from the way he was *cough bragging cough* in General Discussion ( ). Just because we don't answer doesn't mean we don't read your problems, it just means we have nothing useful to add. If you would prefer 20 replies of 'Sorry bro, no clue', then you're wasting your time. The JA is getting pretty big now, in terms of the number of members we have. Everyone used to be very close, but now, because the range of personalities is so big, we're not as close anymore. Ach well.. i've got my friends, and that's all I care about, heh. |

Nowadays, people just don't take that time anymore it seems, and just look away. We don't have to help you, we do simply because we want to; however, we don't know everything, and as such cannot be expected to help with everything. There are probably other sites with forums which actually deal with these kind of problems - just give it a Google. |
