hi. im wanting to take sum cool screenshots but sum of the cmd's i need wont work because it says "cheats are not enabled in this server" (i am doing it on mulitplayer then go to single game  ) so i was wondering if any of u new what is going on and how to fix it  thanks  _______________ [proud owner of talions 200th, 700th,1111th coment AND 1400th , DJK's 3001th coment! , saz's 400th coment! liso's 800th coment! cg_fov isn't between 0 and 80. In base jka it goes up to 97, but if you have a mod you can make it go further up. |

Some commands, especially ones good for taking Screenshots, will only work when Cheats are enabled. You can enable Cheats by running jk3mp, bringing down the console on the Main Menu, and typing /devmap nameofthemapfile without the ".bsp" extension. Example: /devmap the_academy_v2 This will boot up a server running the Jedi Academy v2 map with Cheats Enabled, so you'll be able to use those commands and get some cool Screenshots. |

It all depends on what you want to do... If you want to use the /timescale command (for slowing the game) you have to set up a cheat-enabled MP Game (devmapall mapname in console) other nice tricks for screenshots are: /cg_thirdpersoncameradamp 0 (for letting the camera stand where it is when you type in the command, so you can make screenies from the front of your character, set it back to 0.3 for default cam) /cg_thirdpersonspecialcam 1 (try this and do a butterfly or another special move) /cg_draw2d 0 (for removing all text from the screen,back to 1 for defaults) /cg_fov xx (number between 0 and 80, for the camerazooms) also try bind f12 screenshot silent so there'll not be a message saying wrote screenshotxx... You want to take screenshots? The easiest way is probably to bind it *Example*: bind s screenshot (type into console) and everytime you press "s" it should take a screenshot _______________ "Twice the pride, double the fall" |
