Does anyone besides me notice some odd behavior about the Academy mod?
Specifically, I seem to get spontaneously kicked (or maybe Pushed, only no sound effect), even when I'm completely alone in a room (and yes, I'm certain it's not someone invisible doing it). Often I'll be standing on one of the pillars in Matrix and just get knocked off. This happens in duels too. Perhaps it's by design--you sometimes get knocked back as if kicked when you do certain kinds of attacks. But it also happens during duels that I'm not attacked at all, my opponent is well out of reach, and I suddenly get knocked backwards or sideways. Wow...Javaguy, that sounds like some serious crap. I still have yet to see this. I have a feeling that someone has messed with the server's MAX_PACKETS, etc. to create an "anti-lag" thing. We'll have to have Huxley take a look at it. The reason I believe this is because it is a tool written into the JAT and JAC script. It's hard to "undo" the stuff if you dont really know what you are doing. So once Huxley figures out a solution to this, all will be well.  _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

Another bug I've noticed, and this has happened to me multiple times...
A guy RDFAs me, or tries to rather, and I step aside. As soon as he lands I do a blue-stance thrust right into him...only to be thrown to the other side of the mat as though kicked. He's definitely not kicking me, nor _could_ he kick me immediately after landing an RDFA. I don't take damage or anything, but it's annoying to be auto-kicked away when I'm doing a textbook counter to the DFA that should do a fair amount of damage but instead does none at all. _______________ My signature is only one line. This happens to me too. I'm not trying to do a ydfa or anything, just standing there minding my own beeswax. I thought it was a glitch I was getting because of a new input device I have, but if more people are experiencing it, it must be server related.

Did Read your post.. "Its not the mod doing it..as its tester i would know if it was..the problemis that debug is on so when you try to do a trick ydfa client 0 gets nocked bak a little." So Do you meen that if someone try's a "Trick ydfa" on you ya get knockd back Or.... Because Dubug is on it's causing random *Push's* to a person tagged as client 0? Cause it's happened to me...in a room no one else in there..no one about to *Trick ydfa* either.. My Personal 1st thought? One of the server Admins having a laugh...Heh

It has nothing to do with Debug. Perhaps the server has some settings that were contradictive. In any case, 1.2 will be on the servers shortly...and no...Not avaliable for download!!! _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

yeah, I've experienced that as well and thought already I was too stupid to ydfa correctly....

There is actually a glitch which mos commonly happens when trying to do the yellow DFA whilst running along, the animation gets stuck, your saber goes back to the defensive position but you're still jumping in the air, and you get pushed back.
