yo guyz, was reading good old PC GAMER (uk) last week and saw a link to a JK:JA mod, thought "hmmm should chek that out", man was that a good idea, found possibly the coolest mod ever, not quite realeased yet, but will be out within a month or so. It is basically maps, skins, sabers and vehicles, all wrapped up into a timelined mod of all the coolest duels and fight scenes from EP's I, II, IV, V and VI, including the Darth Maul v Obi fight, the Obi v Jango, Yoda v Dooku, Obi v Vader, Luke v Vader :: SPOILER:: "I am your father" scene, and also the Throne Room duel. If that isn't making u think "COOL!!!" then u are no star wars fan, and should be expelled from the academy... jus jokin, but u should be ashamed of urself at least. Hi everyone i m KotF developer.
Knights of the Force Demo 2.3 To play KotF you must have Jedi Academy and its 1.1 patch on your PC installed.Download Furthermore this is very important * You must direct the folder adress of Jedi Academy Correctly. e.g.: "C:\Games\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/" * Never direct to "gamedata or "gamedata/base" folders otherwise demo won't work and you will get an error. * Empty the base folder. make sure nothing has left except the original files. * To get hints about the levels check out the "Options > Tips & Tricks" part in CD menu. * Some of anti-virus programs find the file named cmdow.exe inconvenient which is helping cd menu to run but i assure you its not a virus, dont worry about that. Besides a broad explanation about this subject can be found here: http://www.commandline.co.uk/cmdow/ * If you get TrojanDropper.Win32.QuickBatch.c error about kur.exe just ignore it. after you click install that file operates, and since it makes installation secretly anti-virus programs can sense it differently. its not virus or trojan. after installation finished file is useless.. can be deleted if like a former statement of mine: The only reason i haven't published anything yet is becouse the fact that it is very easy to copy something done in JKA. And looking back, you can't find any SP mod that released a demo and than been released. Developers gave up and published what they have done so far. That's why these mods are 200-300mb. I am going to release a 90mb demo. Becouse this is a real demo. I mean i will release a part of KotF not what i have done so far. I have been working for 3 years with your help and support. Yes, the demo is late but there is a reason. I am trying to reduce the time between KotF demo and the real thing. And the reason i am releasing the Kamino level is becouse it is very hard to make that level in JKA. As you know we can't edit the source code in single player. Lucas didn't release that. Thats why things you do in MP are very hard to do in SP. Even sometimes impossible. In the demo you will be able to fight with dual pistol weilding jango fett and see the stunning visuals of Kamino. You will be able to kill boba fett class. You will see that cheats aren't working, you won't be able to save/load(for the competition) and most JKA coused bugs found in every sp mods have been fixed.
