yo guyz, was reading good old PC GAMER (uk) last week and saw a link to a JK:JA mod, thought "hmmm should chek that out", man was that a good idea, found possibly the coolest mod ever, not quite realeased yet, but will be out within a month or so. It is basically maps, skins, sabers and vehicles, all wrapped up into a timelined mod of all the coolest duels and fight scenes from EP's I, II, IV, V and VI, including the Darth Maul v Obi fight, the Obi v Jango, Yoda v Dooku, Obi v Vader, Luke v Vader :: SPOILER:: "I am your father" scene, and also the Throne Room duel. If that isn't making u think "COOL!!!" then u are no star wars fan, and should be expelled from the academy... jus jokin, but u should be ashamed of urself at least. The only problem is, I was scrolling through the screenshots and one of them had nudity. Well... the supposed release date is coming soon... Let's see if this guy actually follows through. I've never trusted any hyped up game mods for any game... except for JAPLUS and FM3. I've been watching this mod for a ver long time. The one guy that's making it himself (that's a lot of effort!) has been setting release dates for over a year that never went through. But, he doesn't owe it to anybody to make it come out sooner than later, so I appreciate the time and effort going into this awesome looking mod. |

Does this strike you as odd that all the maps shown are maps already made? If this is supposed to be a mod where you can play by yourself and has cinematics and blah blah blah blah blah, do you think that they have every single map file shown there so they can edit them? yes lots of megs, 800 i believe, but not a problem for broadband'ers, and worth the time. Yes it has been ages on the last 1%, but this is translating all the text in game to lots of languages, and considering it is one person doing the whole mod. the guys a legend by what he has achieved.
