Where in the heck are you guys? I been on like 24/7 and no one shows up to the academy! We got to get this place rockin again I cant hold it down by just dueling bots. So if you got some time jump if you see me or anyone else on there. I hope its not due to the cleanup because you played there before all the time. If it is I hope you come back because some friends of yours may have lost thier rank but thier still yours and everyone elses friend. The JA isnt about rank or skill. Its about being with your friends and having a good time. I go here cause i dont have to deal with people calling others newbs and flaming etc... You all want to play I know you do so dont show up because some things have changed. Its always gonna be the same old JA so join me and play! Allright, Inactivity is something the JA does not suffer from. Sure there's times that the servers are not populated, but hey, I like to think, somebody has to be there first. And I'm sticking with Kryt on this one. You or I can't judge over inactivity, I for example live in the Netherlands. I can't possibly know about US activity. Another point. Just because the Servers aren't populated, doesn't mean the JA is suffering from inactiveness! The Forums is full of new posts every hour! I just want to point something out. Anyone who thinks that the "old days" were the JA's glory days needs to reconsider what they're saying. We had no server admins, no admin mod, pretty dull classes, lamers everywhere, and no forums. The JA was DJ's server and an IRC channel. It sucked compared to the later days. Personally, I have fonder memories of mid to late 2003 and early 2004. Oh, and you can get the IP from this site without being logged in. Just look at the tracker. Scythus they can get the IP from the server info page as well. Just cause they can see it doesnt mean they know the password. Plus you can see TJA with almost any game search engine No worries they cant get in. Its not like I told them that "Grenade5" was the password or anything. Thank you Tido! I know its hard for 2 people to understand comments said in a conversation let alone 3 or 4. But Tido has gotten my point across better then me and I understand Javas post better as well. My post is not a personal shot at anyone its like that Disney Hakuna Matata song basically the past is over. My point about those with a 800 or lower number is not to disrespect you guys cause yes youve been around the longest and have gotten the academy passed down to me. But RANK is not what the JA, its about playing having fun and socializing with your freinds. So lets just do that and all Connect to 12.34.567.890:0000 and play this game we all love! P.S. Hope we don't get yet another closed thread. I don't think Javaguy is trying to say that someone's views on the matter are only worth the amount of time since they sent in their application. He's just saying this has happened before and is no biggie. I don't think Deq was taking a personal stab at Javaguy. I think Deq is just trying to take an optimistic view on things and sometimes the way oldbies refer to the JA within the last year is in a pretty dreary way. I guess my 2cents is I don't think anyone ment any harm. Hope ya realize that Kryt is an awesome guy, Deq, and he's just misunderstanding ya. Please no more lashing out, it just stinks to read it. |

Unfortunately, this post looks oddly similar to the post I made about a month ago. Of course, with this talk of "Get on now, play now", I have been prompted to show my arse a bit. As some of you know, I can be long-winded so bear with me. Yes there have been some changes in the JA. My ID is 7129 and I can't speak of the "old days", but what I can speak of it the past year. The changes you refer to are well known and that is one of the reasons I don't get on as much as I used to. Now, I said one reason. There are a few others that I would like to mention. IDIOTS. Yes IDIOTS on the server. When I come on the server, I don't want to be hassled with and jumped on, or around. I understand it's just someone else having fun, and I am all about fun. Just have it with someone else if that is your way of fun. Another reason, POOR SPORTS. The RESPECT factor is long gone from the JA and that is probably a primary reason for the shake up here. If you get your arse kicked in, take it. You will never, yes never, win every duel. Not gonna happen, so get over it and come get another arse whippin'. As for you Deqlyn. The only reason this place is still around is because of those members who have IDs under 800. You wouldn't have this place if they didn't stick out the hard times. Basically what I'm saying is STFU!!!!! I'm fairly easy to get along with, but when you disrespect a ranked member in a post, my disrespect level goes skyward. JG has every right to remember the past and any other member that thinks different can meet me on the server and see what my vengeance is all about. There now, I've said what was on my mind, pissed off a bunch of people, and defended my bros.
