Okay, i just got Permission from Buzz to hold a dueling tournament. So, heres how it would work, if anyone would be interested in it. First, it would last a week, Starting when i think we have enough duelers and judges. The duels can be held whenever two duelers want, but they need a judge to report the duel here (Click the d00ling ladder link.) You can only duel the same person once every day though. I think new duelers and judges will still be allowed to join the game during this week. Each time you win, you are granted two points, and when you lose, one point. So you can get a good place in the ladder even when always losing, as long as you duel alot. To become a dueler or a judge, just PM me on www.takaru.net, e-mail me at TakaruKun@Gmail.com or contact me on mIRC, i'm pretty much always on our channel. I also recomend you read the rules, which are on www.takaru.net. Even though i think said everything here which is there, i might have missed something. No, but its not really like a tournamet either, which is still why I like the check system the most  . As Masta pointed out, this is not a tournament, this is merely a league or a 1-week saber FFA if I may say. The idea of a tournament is cool, however, you have to organize things a bit more in depth I think. A tournament is about having brackets, having a structure to know who fought who, who won, who lost, will there be a chance given you the losers or not, etc. Looks like you just had the idea of putting people to duel for points, and dropped it on the forums without much explanation or preparation... I'm not saying that's a bad idea, but I think the expérience would be much more enjoyable if it had a better structure. Maybe you should delay the date and work on that, don't you think ? Im in, althouhg I like the check mark system better ((when you win a duel you get a check, you may only duel people with the same number of checks, so eventaully everyone will be ranked out in order from last to first, since eventaully everyeon will havea different number of checks, how many players are participating gets you a general idea how many checks the person in first place will have. I like this system, becauseit a test of your skill and not based on as much as duelign also, the reason I like it more then elimination, because the two best duelers may duke it out at the very beggining in an elimination system. This is nto the case in check system, thy may fight each other right off the bat, but the loser can go fight someone else who had just lost against someone and does not have a 'check' yet. I've got all the stuff done though, just look at http://www.takaru.net/plug.php?p=ladder That is where the judge reports the duel, who won, who lost etc. The system calculates all the points on its own. You could take a screenshot and show it to a judge. But both of the duelers must agree with this. As Masta pointed out, this is not a tournament, this is merely a league or a 1-week saber FFA if I may say. The idea of a tournament is cool, however, you have to organize things a bit more in depth I think. Err...thats actually more like a league then a ladder/tournament. Thing is, we have to organize matches ourselfs yes? ...and a judge has to be present during the matches, yes?
