I can't believe my ATi Radeon 9250 wont work for this came but they can gety it to work for X-Box, which is weaker than my graphics card. Something to do with shaders or something. They put a notice on the site that the 1.01 is bunk, and to uninstall and reinstall. here's the scenario: I'm a Special Operations kit soldier trying to take a flag for America. I get to the enemy base, sneak around, only to have a tank look directly at me. This has happened so many times that I can feel the guy pulling the trigger, I'm toast, there's nothing I can do to a tank when he knows I'm there. Then Out of the blue, an f-15 dives out of the sky and blows him into three thousand pieces. I'm standing there with my mouth open, shaking in my boots and still alive. And that was just ONE of the cool things that happened last night. There was that time I hopped in a blackhawk with a squad mate and mowed down tons of enemies with a chaingun, taking breaks to hop in the back and repair the heli as an engineer, THEN watching as the pilot dives at the ocean and comes to a hovering cruise three feet bove the water to pick up another squad mate. Or that one time I was defending a flag and enemy armor rolled up and killed my whole squad, leaving only me huddled in one corner of a building. I ran to the stairs, got on the roof, jumped onto the tank, layed two charges of c4, ran like hell, an dble it to hell. You team has a commander, a player chosen by players, who can send in artilary strikes (you can destroy the enemy artillery), give you radar feedback, and sends commands to squad leaders. Squad leaders send commands to their troops, AND are spawn points for the troops. Medics can bring you back to life after you die with defillibrators. You have built in voice communication, but only between your squadmates- squad leaders can talk directly to the commander also. If you play on ranked servers, you gain experience based on how well you perform, you can get medals and awards and such, and if you get promoted enough, unlock special weapons for all of the kits. Once you run through your first artilery strike unharmed, and notice that your pants are a little wet, you'll realize why you bought the game. Hope that's reason enough for you. BF 2 you mean battle field and not battle front ( well of course since battle front 2 is not out yet) If anyone can inform me what advantages that I might like of battle field 2 over Wolfenstein: enemy territory ( which is a free download stand alone multiplayer, where you do not need return to castle wolfenstien to play ) that would be appreciated.
