I edited the above to put in a good point. To wish to suppress or bring harm to the dissenter is just hypocritical. When I was trained in the military, I was told the toughest thing we might have to do is to protect people who are burning our flag, protesting and insulting the military personally, from the fellow public. To stand there and keep respectful citizens from beating the crap out of those that are burning the flag and insulting the military....would be tough. While I have regrets on posting the initial find and helping to spark further disdain for Micheal Crook, I do find it necessary to do so to illustrate points. How strong must the men and women of our Armed Services be to rise above their hate, and continue to stand up for people like him. To fight and die, to shed blood and sweat and tears, just so a man can say these things about his world. This guy is a compleat a$$ Im glad to say his web site has been shut down. Some of you may know that I serve in an Infantry unit and that I have been overseas on active service a few times. I have also come home to hear people complain about the money and benefits we recive whilst puting our lives in danger. I would love to have these people for a month to show them exactly what we go through, they wouldnt last a week. I just hope that the first returned service men to find this clown dont beat him to within an inch of his worthless life to quickly, I would like it to be as slow as posible, then let him recover and do it all over again. If I had only known people from this internet community, I would've thought that it was impossible for someone to be that stupid, but I don't. even if it is a joke, this guy should die and burn in hell for all eternity. I have the utmost respect for our troops, and believe that if he has a problem with there payments, he shouldn't take it out on the individual private who can't do anything about it. Its not his fault, that when he "signed the dotted line" it got him a ton of benefits. (which i might add, the soldier deserves completely) he should take it to the governement. They can change it, not the soldiers. If he thinks hes going to rally support for his cause by cheering when a soldier dies he is wrong for sure. This man is sick, evil, and a waste of oxygen on this planet. also, he said something along the lines of (not a direct quote, but close) "another injured soldier being carried away in shame. What happened to big and tough?" I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET SHOT AND WALK AWAY. I hope this guy does try to press charges against the men that might have done this. I refuse to believe that any grown man or woman can be that uncannily stupid. Having said that, I don't believe this at all. It has to be some sort of joke. Fair enough, it's one of the stupidest jokes that one could think up, but that's what people are doing these days, trying to think up the most outrageous things they can, and make money from it. However, this guy, probably sitting in his room, typing on a computer, still has the nerve to insult the very people who are making it possible for him to live the life of luxury he lives. Yup, that pissed me off. And I can already see how this thread is going to pan out: someone is gonna completely overlook what that kid is saying and claim something like Hannity didn't allow the kid to explain what he was about or was offensive to him. But Sean Hannity laid it out clear; the founders of this country believed you have a God-given right to the freedom of speech. However, that doesn't mean that freedom of speech is just something that happens and falls out of the air. It's an idea that is protected everyday by the men and women in our military.
