As you all probably know my name is JP, sometimes called Jedi_Pimp sometime called Jedi_Prodigy, with all the crap goin on and my current trip to Jacksonville in two days id like to take ya to school...ol school that is...[/cheeselines].... Now before you assume this is gonna be a same old i love the JA thingy tons have ppl have done before, get your head outta Virty's butt for two seconds and listen for a bit  ..Ill give ya a brief overview of my journey before i get to the real point of all these shananagans(sp?)Jk2 was my 1st computer game I've ever played, i played N64 and all the other consoles but this was my 1st PC game..so when you new guys think your struggling, just think of this...when i 1st joined, i didnt use my mouse...just the arrow keys to move and ctrl to swing..yea talk about a schmuckatelli...so when I join the JA back in October of 2002, i was quickly beaten to a pulp and hung out to dry by guys like carve, Avalon, Hux, Nightcrawler, luke amoung many others. I then met many people who helped me and trained me, people like Datheus and nightcrawler. They helped my skills to grow. During this time i ran into a guy who used this blue reborn model, who many of you may know as Darth-Mobility, we dueled every day for months and became close friends, at the time it was nothing more than alil chit chat and most skills talk, soon after and young gun name CloakedThunder came in saber blazing like a maniac, he joined us amoung many others like Niten, koyi, Faded, Faded_Angel and i can go on for awhile but CT and Moby were my "dawgs." We trained and lamed each other every day for about a year or so, we go so close that we got each other numbers and talked to each other via phone. This one time when i went away on vacation to Mexico for a week got 5 message between the two of them calling to make sure I was ok (i still have the messages on my phone to this day). Soon after Moby and I start training under Faded. Faded approached both of us and asked us to help him form what we later called the JASE. For those who see me on the server still rocking the tag it stands for Jedi Academy Society of Excellence, all details here While working on the project we needed admins so we recruited our close friend CT. Down the line Faded became a JAK, so we need a replacement, we found someone who did everything and more that Faded did, his name was our very own Virtue. There formed the JASE admins which I have had the distict pleasure of becoming close friends with. During our friendship each has givin me a gift that they could never realise, and each one gave me something different. Moby- Moby gave me my faith back, when i was starting to lose my belief in God he was right there through the darkest times of my life to pick me back up, i never quite told him down I was at some of those points but he never failed to pick me back up. Not to meantion his antics has my crying in laughter every five seconds, how can ya be down on yaself when your laughing so hard ya almost piss yaself...Yes he may be alil...wacked out(yes you are totally insane )... but he still the man.CT- CT's been my wingman in every game I've played since i joined the academy, he's been right next to me in planetside, Americas Army, Matrix Online and now SWG. His country ass has givin me a new taste in music, not to meantion the drive to do better in school, especially now that hes studying the same programming stuff I am, we want to eventually make a game together...so i better get my ass in gear...CT your my dawg RUFF!. Virty- Since the timezone difference has us on less often than i would like Virty has been the person in the JA that always makes me feel like a kid again when i play JK3, when you go through the trials or just train under him, you cant help but feel that there truely is a jedi master in front of you about to teach you how me mess up EVERYBODY! he's brought me back to the game more times than I can count, and probably wouldnt have been here as long as i have been if it wasnt for him. For all those reason i felt it had to meet and hang out with all of them...and Ive been blessed to be able to..I already met Virty and Moby in Vegas...and i cant even begin to tell you how fun that was...actually...i will...but not this thread..ill make another for that...moving on...and now in two days i get to meet CT completeing my visits to the JASE admins my four brothers who if i was to get married(dont worry im still pimping for a long time) each would be bought a plane ticket to be right next to me. My point to all of this is to each and everyone of you has been giving a gift that you take for granted every time you cause problems in the JA. The JA has giving me so much and i only hope that all of you can even begin to feel even a 10th of the love i have for this place so...be good...keep training...make some friends....and slap gradius...goodday  _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs. omg good old times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How I miss these days and hanging out with you guys!! Faded, JP, CT, Faded angel, hux, moby, virt, silk, luke! I will always love this place but for me, being able to hang around with you guys during that time was what got me into gaming. I never played a pc game where you could actually mingle with people until Koyi got me into jk2. /me slaps Gradius teh chimp (see Aron's profile picture). I remember when I joined the JASE. I had to get 15 votes (from 15 different people, of course) to get in. I remember that Silk gave me the last vote, then he took me on as his padawan. Also, I think I was the last person who had to collect votes to get accepted. This is a great post, JP! Keep pimpin'!
