Well today O'liin Vos and I were training when he showed me an awesome sport known as beam dueling. As far as we know this has never really caught on, so we were wondering if the members of the Jedi Academy would want a Beam Dueling club that would hold tourneys and practice this unique style of saber combat. For those of you who don't know, Beam Dueling is currently held in the Pit on the beams below the platforms. Each duelist takes one side of the beam, and then has to stay on the strip without falling off to beat the opponent. Some variants include double beam dueling, and well.........that's the only one we've come up with so far. Perhaps if we become popular enough we could even ask Virtue for some extra Beam Dueling stuff on Academy v3. Synchronised bench jumping... You and your partner jump together across one of the matricies in the coolest and best timed way. Piggyback races... You have to travel somewhere balanceing on your partners head... Against opponents. Sabre Golf... Health Pack vollyball is fun too. You take some kind of wall or bridge (the ones on JK3 Bespin work really well) and you force push a Healthpack, shield, or ammo (I think healthpacks are easiest to see) back and fourth over the bridge like volleyball. I think it's a good idea for ppl to specialise in this particular area, and if you have fun in doing it, why not? I dont really see the need for a club though, but its a good idea nevertheless _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. |

Thats good to hear, cause I know they changed some weapons (therefore ruining basically any reason for the knowledge I had of using saber and forces to counter guns, which imo sucks) but it's good to hear the rockets are still the same ^_^ _______________ JK2 pwnz0rs JK3. |

If you want a Beam Duel or a Tournament in the Pit, then go have one...if enough people want it. I just don't see the need for a club. But that's just me. |
