It has come to my attention that some people have been experiencing problems with the skinpack. I personally have not, but I would like to know what errors and bugs all of you have found. Please encourage everyone to post here. If you have heard others have bugs with certain skins, please report them so we can isolate each problem and fix it. Any bug whatsoever concerning the pack should be reported here. If you haven't had any problems, please post as well mentioning this and tell us which folder you put your skins in, whether you have other skins, and if you have no problems on all the servers. To report a bug follow the below criteria: Give the skin name and model (description if you dont know which one, icon pic would be useful for specifying which model) Give the nature of the bug -When it happens -What it does -How frequently it occurs -Does it cause lag or a disconnect Show us any pics or try to contact me so I can look at them Tell us which folder you keep your skin pk3s and whether you have any other skins for JA installed. Finally, tell us if these same errors occur on all the servers. On another note: A lot of people have been giving us skin suggestions. Please put your suggestions here as well with the name of the pk3, links to screenies, and links to download them. I would like to remind you that our skinpack is Star Wars oriented. Yea, Saz is correct, I think we'll just replace that model with the Keiran Halcyon skin recommended by Roan. At the beginning of the process we picked the Corran skin over Keiran, but it seems like we should have done it the other way  I've heard people want more models in the pack, so I'm still taking suggestions. yeah. you can only access robed model through console (i think) . you cant choose it in model select screen. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. I have a problem with the glm_ep1obi skin. When I use the skin with this icon, I run around without a robe - the way it's supposed to be. However, when I die, I respawn WITH a robe (very annoying), so I have to go to the skin selection section, choose another skin, then choose the Obi-Wan skin in question again to get rid of that damn robe. Quite tiresome after a while... _______________ In the navy and LOVING it!

R2 I had problems with the skin pack because Ion extracting from Zip i said do not overwote the pk3 that I already had. I realised that you had not renamed pk3 after changing them. I would recommend that next time updated pk3 are renamed. Also the Corran horn is a bit poor here is a better one I think. And we discuss making all Natuleon skins have the sound that would be good. Ok, thanks for clarifying. Sauce- I fixed that bot file, the author messed up. However, considering the .jkb file is different from the original, the pk3s are totally different, so if I have that in my base folder, it wont be recognized on the servers. Thus, I have to put it in with the skin pack correction/addition coming out later on. I think Hitokiri is referring to General Grievous skin that has the cape glitch but it's a bug that came with the original version so unless you report the bug to the maker of the skin (Neomarz) there isn't anything we can do about it _______________ "Twice the pride, double the fall" |
