I disliked combat pre-CU, although it could have something to do with the fact that an entry-level bunny could own me, and now its slightly harder to be owned on the ground. I recently switched guilds and we're plannin on doing some stuff to keep things interesting. Space is fun, but at tier 4 (where I am) its pretty boring if you dont have some friends or something to help keep you entertained. (10% inspiration buffs also help). Meh...ground combat just isn't fun anymore, in my opinion. It's all about hitting the hotkey for your best attack, wait for it to wind up, hit it again, wait for it to wind up and repeat until the mob you kill is dead. I played for 6 months before the combat upgrade and had the time of my life! To be honest, I can't play a game which makes me want to fall asleep while I'm in combat. Anyways, as someone else previously stated, if you haven't played it pre-CU, you shouldn't have too much to complain about. Besides, some people (among them Monty) say that combat is more fun now, so I guess it appeals to a lucky few (those who have stayed in the game). The only thing I can do in SWG without boring my pants off now, is to help Silk get space combat XP in his jedi starfighter. _______________ In the navy and LOVING it!

i havent played the game b4 the combat upgrade but i hear it will ruin it f u play that without the CU then play it with it so i dont wanna play it B4 the CU and the thing about being in the SW universe dosent wear out after a week or so. it will wear out after like a few months (only if u rush to do everything in the game when u 1st gte it will it only last a couple of weeks) _______________ (\__/) (O.o ) (> < ) This is Bunny. i love how people moan about it and aint played it for some time,. the game is great still, sure im a Jedi waiting for the Knight trials, but both my characters are full, no grinding needed, the combat upgrade is great fun, its not all about hittin the mind anymore. As for the econemy, well its being fixed slowly but surely, high priced loot isnt dropping anymore till prices balance out and even up a little. SWG is hyped up, the whole enthusiasm of being in a star wars world full-time wears off after a week or so. The combat upgrade has ruined the game, there is a jedi on every street corner, the economy is going to the dogs. ^^^^ Is why I left the damn game  _______________ Former padawan of RoseRed |

Hi there! I can tell about SWG.. pretty much actually, played it in 20 months.. Nowadays there isnt much social playing in the game.. most is about getting higher lvl/skills. The game got the starwarsfeeling but is pretty much about grinding and stuff.. Maybe if you buy it now you wont think it's bad because you dont know how it was before.. My advice is to try it..
