(I don't know why I'm posting this, I just felt I needed to) Let us not forget... That the JACs, JATs and JAKs do what they do to help us all - to make this a better place for us all. They voluntarily do this job, without asking for any payment - merely for respect from the members of this community. We should remember to give these people, who do a great job of making this place what it is, respect - whether we agree with their decisions or not. Many members of this Academy, myself included, have made stupid mistakes and have had stupid little rants about things that have gone on in the Academy - and really, they should never happen. We (You and I) choose to come here, no-one is forcing us, so lets at least give respect to the people who make it all happen. Over the time this Academy has been around, there have been many shameful times for people, and many glorious times - and whilst we strive to increase the glorious times, lets try to minimise the problems that we can cause. Yes, that WE can cause. I'm not expecting anyone to listen to me, and I - personally - know I have done a lot of things that would have lost many people's respect. But I'm willing to, and wanting to, change for the good of the people here, and to show support for those in authority here. I would like to apologise for anyone whom I have offended or, in any way, disrespected. I hope that others who have had similar experiences can lay those to rest as well (no names or such, just a general thing). My post may not be the emotional or brilliant posts of this style that people have written - but I wasn't expecting that. What I do expect is for us to give the respect to others that we want in return. We come to a place that has *THE BEST* community spirit of any forum I have ever been to before I joined, or since. The staff here do an amazing job, and they deserve our gratitude. Verily it rocketh! ~James _______________ Website |
