The other day I was playing on the JA main server. All fun, duels knights trainers a lot of new students. Anyway, after I gave 'm the tour and all, showed them the correct way to duel, thinks got a little out of hands with the more experienced students. Rules are to be broken, even for a Jedi. Haven't the rogue Jedi always been very powerful (except yoda and windu ofcourse). Anyway, THERE WERE GUNS IN THE TEMPLE. Big deal, everyone was ok with it right up to the moment a certain student (i won't say his name but it had something to do with a temple  ) entered. Immediately he started whining and killing all the fun. Now we all respected his opinion of living by the rules and went outside. But unfortunately due to respawning we all went by him on the way back. Some of us started teasing the partypooper. And again whining and threatening, and complaining to the knights. Now my proposal is just to take a screenshot of someone who does such things and then kick his *ss in a duel and keep your honour. Do not act like a crybaby. uhm, just my short opinion:
rules are not here to be broken, rules are here to help you. so, i think you can let go of rules if you dont need them. when everybody agrees that you want to do a gun ffa, hell why not do it? the no-guns rule is only to prevent to get shot by some guys who want to cause trouble. BUT as soon as somebody does not agree on this, you should stop or at least go outside WITHOUT chaseing him  on the other hand, dont complain and whine about something just it's because against the rules. think on your own and you will see that you can sometime (!) let go of rules. sometimes

Here's my six and a half cent's on this matter. I think you guys should use outside for FFA's all the time, unless the outdoor courtyard is already being used. Wise, it was very disrespectful to tease the guy when he had a very valid complaint. Hell, I probably would have asked you guys to stop had I been there, I hate walking around a (usually) peaceful academy, and all of a sudden have a rocket shoved up my bunghole. Respect the other person's wishes, and everything will be fine. RESPECT is what keeps schools like the JA alive. Please, don't try to kill it, or i'll be out of work :'( |

yep, I agree as well, but I remember the times when there was the Deathstar level on the NL server, which is really cool for gun FFAs. duellers kept duelling in the hangar bay, FFA folks FFA'd the rest of the map. I can’t say anything with real authority on this situation because I wasn’t there. So you will see me saying IF a lot.
This is from the rules of the Academy regarding guns specifically: “…The only exceptions to this rule are if a trainer is teaching a class involving guns, or the presence of guns or traps in the temple is OK with everyone on the server. If someone has a problem with it, then don't do it.” So IF everyone on the server agreed that guns were ok in the temple then it should be fine. IF someone new showed up and didn’t like it then they should stop. IF they didn’t that’s wrong I agree, but if they did and the new arrival kept whining then that person hasn’t read the rules. It’s not nice to tease when people can’t handle the teasing. I tease people I know all the time, but not people who are immature. So pick your teases carefully Like when Bubu said your name could be a little misleading I’m sure he was just teasing (he better be.)
Again I don’t know the specific events but IF the gun battle was moved outside when someone arrived that didn’t want guns in the temple, then there shouldn’t have been ANY whining. Right on Malky. I can see what you're gewtting at wise, it is fun to have a little gun around every nowe and then. But it is against the rules for guns in the temple unless strictly stated otherwise. Probably would of been alright if you hadn't started teasing the guy.
