I have no disillusions about Saddam. He's a horrible person who needs to be taken out of power.
I'm against this war. I'm more gung-ho than most, but this is just stupid. I'm also feeling very frustrated at the American government. I watched Pubes...err...Bush's statement today and was furious. Not only do I dislike him personally(I have since day 1), I also think his speech was utter crap. I am not a Saddam supporter, no way.
but what DID Saddam do to the US? He invaded Kuwait, killed his own people, fought with Iran for 10 years. He has never attacked the US directly and first as far as I can remember. |

Well, for better or for worse it's started. Nothing much else to say other than: hope it's over quickly, with little loss of life, and I hope Mr Bush is a man of goodwill. Though lately I've been inclined to answer in the negative.
