Is there anyone who hasnt cried at a movie before? it takes alot for me to cry in a movie im just not a very soft guy on emotional stuff but i did cry once in a movie, it just touched me somehow and i couldnt control myself. The movie in question is The Green Mile. Very old movie, 1999 was its release but i was just looking at movies in my collection and glanced upon it and thought i would hand it to you guys to see if u cried or not. The main part that got me was right at the end when MDC (Michael Duncan Clarke) reminds us that he is scared of the dark. that scene just yanked on me big time heh _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

Well I haven't realy cried in a move, but I cried bucket loads after one. I never really cried when watching a movie but every now and then I make this "mmmtshih" sound which is a manly way of hiding the fact that you've been moved by something. When I was a kid I used to cry at the end of Lassie movies. Something about a little boy losing his dog that just got to me. I was watching "Antwone Fisher" yesterday on TV and that was getting to me. The part where he finally meets his mother and she doesn't say anything.....and then he goes back to his new aunt's house and they have gotten all his extended family there to greet him......THAT'S SOME POWERFUL SHIZNIT!  My friends ruined one of my weekends by telling me that "Stepmom" was a good movie and that I should watch it. I did. And I had to take breaks near the end because that was too frickin' sad. THAT MOVIE KILLS! I am MAN enough to admit it. I did tear up a bit watching Titanic. Not weeping or anything but there were some sad parts there at the end. My GF on the otherhand literally BALLED! I don't usually cry at movies but I once got very sad and almost cried when I saw the movie "Glory". It's about Robert Shaw who leads the US Civil War's first all-black volunteer company, fighting prejudices of both his own Union army and the Confederates. At the end where they have to attack the fort on the beach hill gets me because it actually happened, none of them made it. It's not "just a movie" because it actually happened in real life, total self sacrafice.They knew they where going to die and when Shaw says in the movie "If the American flag falls who will pick it up? ...who will pick it up!?", then that guy steps forth to do it. They show the one white guy who stood up for them being burried in the sand with all of his brothers who are black, and when the credits roll, showing the memorial sculpture of them with that emotional music. I didn't used to cry at movies, but a couple of years ago I caught myself doing it! I will nearly always cry at moments of personal sacrafice. I never cry anymore :/ The only film i remember crying a little in was Armageddon when I was 10. Bruce Willis set the bomb to save everyone else. Hes soo brave :'( |

Especially that really emotional scene near the end, where Butthead turns to Beavis and say, "Uh...Huh huh, huh, huh huh, heh heh heh..." I've cried watching a film (which is english for movie ) but I don't think of it as much of a big attribute, movies purposes are the suspension of disbelief in mopst cases, so in my opinion it's a perfectly normal thing to do.
