Word is that there will be a JK4, but made by EA games, not Raven. Yeah a new game would not suffer from the "rushed" feeling of jk3. There is the risk of scrapping content like in KOTOR2 still though. I'm sure that happens in almost every game, but when its easily able to discover like in the case of KOTOR 2 that's just bad for everyone. I agree there, you do hear a lot of "my cousin's friend's uncle works at the company" and it does get irritating. My negativity comes from the claim of how the people who say a new game is on the way. They "heard it from a friend who knows a guy who works at raven" or stuff like that. It also comes from Lucasarts willingness to sacrifice game content for speed of release. I give you KOTOR 2 and JK3 which was announced before jk2 was out for a year. Personally i don't see it as that unlikely that they will make another game at some point, it will make them some money, and there is no reason they have to go to Raven as its such as the game is basically the Jedi game, so even if Raven own the old build they will just start from scratch and call it 'Jedi Knight', it dosn't have to even feature Katarn the name would sell more copies of the game, so they would use it most likely. indeed! and they could look around the web, and see our big community and think "oh well theres 2500 people that will buy it" cuz comeon, who can honestly say that if a jk4 comes out, they wont buy it ? _______________ [proud owner of talions 200th, 700th,1111th coment AND 1400th , DJK's 3001th coment! , saz's 400th coment! liso's 800th coment! yeah my friends brothers 3rd cousins 2nd marriage's step son in law knows... pfft.. Honestly the move from Jedi Knight I to JK II to JK: JA look at how they've developped the force powers and use of the lightsaber. now think about if there is going to be a next one. what would they " Try" to improve. Post your opinions. something like more Realistic movements or graphics. will it be that you just mash a certain button combo and do a spinning jump kick to the head and cut some other guy in half? or will they keep the current fighting system. where you have your basic attacks and have to chain them together yourself. with JKJA you had the addition of the speeder bike and in multiplayer you can fly some space craft. will they extend on that to make it a FULL open game. Can you choose what path you want to fight. either Sith or Jedi or even Mercenary. so you can play the same storyline out in three different perspectives. for example. one level contains a merchant ship. As the Jedi you could be investigating it for illegal items. As a Sith you could be in charge of smuggling illegal items. or As a Merc. you'd be the guy guarding over the items. so many choices.. heh.. maybe I should write the storyline for the next Jedi Knight installment. A story within the Star Wars Galaxy.. who will you choose to be.... what will be your path... what will you fight for... and what are your goals... all this can be accomplished in.. ........
