How did u think Hayden did as Anakin Skywalker? I think he was very good in the action scenes, but didnt really do it that good in the rest! But the caster says at least a dozen times that Hayden is one of the best actors she's worked with, and a LOT of people think that he sucks... What is your oppinion? _______________ Not back yet... hope you don't think harrison ford will be in next movie ? no course not, you wouldn't be that silly
Episode III will have anakin skywalker as slightly older (about 3-5years is my estimate)we'll see the little babies, one being given to bail organna and one given to obi wan to take to the lars guys. Dunno if Dooku is gonna be in it yet, as he has to be defeated somehow in order for anaking to become sith apprentice. What I know is this, Obi wan and anakin have a phat ruck, anakin falls in lava or something, gives his soul to the darkside so that he can live. The next Star Wars movie should have superb actors like Harrison Ford... That could keep it from those weird scenes, that screws up the rest! _______________ Not back yet... Actually the way I heard that scene it happened as a joke. It was a really hot day outside, and Harrison pulled out his gun and shot him, and they thought that would be better. Similar to the "I know" line. That was done because Carrie was so drugged up that they kept screwing up the scene and after the umpteenth time he said I know instead of I love you too. _______________ When you are going through Hell, keep going. -Sir Winston Churchill. George Lucas didn't write some scenes w/ Han Solo well either, it's just that Harrison Ford is a really good actor, he fixed his lines up himself (ad lib, ya know)
like in indiana jones (the first one, i think) he fights all these guys with his whip, then this big dude comes in and twirls his sword around, it was written for indy to have another long fight, but harrison ford took out the gun that was on his belt the whole time  and shot him! w00t! lol _______________ Well then. Its not overaction. Its that there is no balance. Star Wars isn't an action movie. Its not a drama either. It needs the combination. The action scenes are great and everything. But the slower scenes like all the romance, doesn't contain action. Its the dialogue during those that move the events. There is little talking during the action. Usually a one liner from a character or two line conversation between people. There its the action which is important. In other scenes its the dialogue and "Faster more Intense" in a dialogue scene isn't going to work. You want to see how to do romance in star wars, empire strikes back is the perfect model, and Lucas didn't direct that. _______________ When you are going through Hell, keep going. -Sir Winston Churchill. about Hayden, i think he did a much better job than i would have done, and i learnt this through drama class, but, i do agree, there are parts where he was alittle... Mistral just look around this forum and you will find plenty of people that think Lucas shouldn't direct the Star Wars Movies. In my opinion it's not just the dialogue but the direction. A director should get the best out of his actors. Poor editing decisions didn't help either.
Lucas should have concentrated on script/producing and handed the direction over to more talented directors like with eps 5 & 6 and the Indiana Jones movies.   |

I agree, the lines could have been better, like in the older episodes, but it's also that there are a lot of movies out, and there must be a difference. I think??? or not. I think he might have been better if Lucas knew how to write dialogue. You've got to remember that a lot of other actors in the prequels are supposed to be amazingly good actors.
