Just watched a movie ? let us know what you just watched with a simple watch, Avoid or if your bored next to it.

Lets face it people dont have the same taste in movies but its pretty simple to work out if you wanna watch it, the Watch or avoid is just a guideline to that genre, so if you like the genre then you will like the movie more than likely.

i'll start

today i watched

Finders Fee - Mystery Indie movie - Watch for sure

Red Eye - Thriller - Only if your bored ( though cillian murphy is creepy :D )

carry it on :D

Yeah I saw Indy 4. I have a bit of a different opinion, I guess. It was too commercial and the movie was kind of lacking in elements that would have made it pretty good. I mean, of course the movie looked great, but thats not really enough for me at least. Go see it for the visuals, and don't go see it to be blown away.

I am glad I am not the only person who thought this.

On Jumper: Solid movie though Jamie Bell is by far the best part of it. Even better than Sammy L.

Indy: Great film, up their with Temple and Last Crusade. However the lack of ambiguity at the end detracted from the experience a bit. Indy works best when it leaves the interpretation to the audience in my opinion. I didn't mind the sci fi though, it makes just as much sense as the religious stuff anyway.

Iron man: Robert Downy Jr made this film work. Without him it would have been another bland superhero effort at best, with him it was stella. The rest of the cast were solid, the plot was good for a first movie in a superhero franchise and though the ending was a bit meh it made up for it was the "I am Ironman" bit.

Also the 2 minute segment after the credits was amusing.

Atonement: Overrated and dreary but powerful film. I enjoyed the dunkirk segments and the beginning was interesting (if infuriating). Great performances too. I felt it lost cohesion towards the end, though Briony's final interview was excellent.

Starsky and Hutch: An amusing remake from the Stiller and Wilson factory. Great cameos. Worth watching if you like Zoolander and such too much.

True Romance: A superb film written by Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott. Very much a Tarantino style plot, with good performances and awesome cameos. Fun!

Sex and the ci- nah just kidding. :P

Jumper...

the idea was cool, but it was rather too quick to progress and then there was nothing interesting left to twist etc.
your average action movie.

Chaos Theory - Ryan reynolds is one of my fav actors anyway, This was cool movie about Ryan who is a very organised guy who suddenly becomes very unorganised due to a chain reaction of events. Funny and sad at times, Fans of Ryan should love it.

In the valley of Elah

Tommy lee jones is one of my most fav actors, every film he does he is just mesmorizing.
A tale a father's journey for truth on the news of the death of his son when he returned from Iraq.
Tommy steals every scene he is in and i thought it was a damn good movie. Watch it!

I believe I mentioned the vacancy for more fight scenes.

Either way, I agree on the subject that Chow Yun Fat was undercast. But it's not like that doesn't happen in every other film industry, so I can forgive it. :P

Finally got my silly butt around to watching Night at the Museum.

Again, Ben Stiller doesn't fail too impress me. Seemed like the usual clichés though. Man and woman, were married.. divorced.. have kid stuck in the middle.. kid is embarrassed of dads occupation, dad tries to prove self. Some great comedy and great acting from the usual. Ricky Gervais is credited earlier on but makes more of a three part cameo than an actual part.

Curse of the Golden Flower - Another big one for the Asian film scene. Some great choreography and Chow Yun-Fat lives up to his name, as the Emperor. Only disagreeable factor is the film has very little martial arts sequences. The film claims to involve the viewer in them with fancy camera work and some careful editing. That said, as rare as they are, the fighting scenes are very impressive.
