Just watched a movie ? let us know what you just watched with a simple watch, Avoid or if your bored next to it.

Lets face it people dont have the same taste in movies but its pretty simple to work out if you wanna watch it, the Watch or avoid is just a guideline to that genre, so if you like the genre then you will like the movie more than likely.

i'll start

today i watched

Finders Fee - Mystery Indie movie - Watch for sure

Red Eye - Thriller - Only if your bored ( though cillian murphy is creepy :D )

carry it on :D

Yeah I enjoyed 3:10 to Yuma, any film with Alan Tudyk in it gets an immediate 27% increase to my anticipation and overal opinion of said film.

I only just saw Casablanca earlier this week, its just such a fantastic movie.

Loads of films I want to see but I havn't found the time yet. Sweeny Todd was superb, Tim Burton is a genius.

im gonna watch The Last Legion today

Serephim Falls is a great film too. Pierce Brosnan showing his age though. Its not a western, but follows a similar pattern. :)

3:10 to Yuma is quite popular. A definite recommend.

Watched Mr. Woodcock last night.

Tip: If you've seen the trailer.. you've practically seen the film.

(I work at Blockbuster, as such I'm required to use my free rental perks and watch as many films as I can as often as I can. The advantage of this also, is I can rent them before they're released to the public. :) I may rent Breach...)

Cloverfield. Decent movie, a couple times the handheld camera got a little bit annoying. Characters for me were believable and relatable for the most part.

If you go and people tell you to stay after the credits, don't bother. There's a little bit of audio said which I really couldn't make out, and its probably not even 2 seconds.

Very good movie, based on a story by Stephen King (I have read it :D ). It has some really scary scenes and John Cusack acts incredible good.
I would recommend this to any horror fan or Stephen King fan. It won't dissappoint you! :D

It was all right, they coulda made it waaaaaay better than it was, it seemed really short. The ending really leaves you hanging, kinda sucky. But overall the movie was pretty cool.

SAW 4

I love the saw series as its a refreshing change from the normal serial killer that kills people after stupid sex scenes.

However 2 and 3 had very poor twists in them but this one was back to the same standard as the first twist !

Go watch if you havent watched it, but make sure to see them in order as they have a continuing flow

I'd say it is above average, but I had rather high expectations. My sister thought it was good and has also read the book.

Going to watch Golden Compass soon, I'll try to remember to write a review!

I've read the books, so I had high hopes going in to watch the movie. The beginning was rather slow and a lot of characters were thrown out there without much of an introduction (mainly the Magesterium folks). A few minor scenes from the book were left out, which seemed not to affect the plot. Casting for this movie was rather good. The actors really matched who I thought they would be in those roles, although Lyra seemed a bit older/more mature than I thought she was in the book. Lord Faa, Lee Scoresby (Americans ftw!) and Iorek really shined in this movie! The daemons were rather cool (Pan ftw!) and graphically looked good.

The whole anti-Church bit was rather toned down, although it is rather obvious that it is referring to the Church as the Magesterium (in particular the scene where Coulter discusses the role of the Magesterium in telling people what they should do). The parts of the book concerning the Magesterium were the most interesting to me and provided a lot of insights into the motives for certain characters. That's probably where the movie could have improved upon.

The action scenes were cool. Witches, Bears, Gyptians, and Scoresby in his aeronaut blimp thing vs the Tartars was rather epic. Watching people die when their daemons go poof was intriguing.

The ending was rather cheesy and not consistent with the book. That scene I believe was in the book, but there was a much more interesting cliffhanger at the end of the novel. This probably was due to the "serious religious implications" in the ending,. The whole toning down the movie did not help it at all.

Just saw Bee Movie haha. We were going to see 'We Own the Night' and messed up our timings. :P

Its actually surprisingly good, with some great subtle gags for the 'older folk' such as myself (can I say that now?). The writing is pretty good as well.

I also saw Benders Big Score which I am putting here because its a whole lot better than The Simpsons Movie. While the latter is good for a laugh and keeps you entertained, Futurama's offering (a ressurection of Firefly/Farscapian proportions) is just better. In every way. Its clever, witty, with great cult references and in jokes for the fans.

Its also more epic somehow, feeling like both a double episode and a movie quality animation.

There are a lot of stand out moments but I did love the way they made fun of Fox at the start of the film. Mark Hamil's portrayal of the Chanukah Zombie is hilarious and Al Gore make an excellent cameo.
