Just watched a movie ? let us know what you just watched with a simple watch, Avoid or if your bored next to it.

Lets face it people dont have the same taste in movies but its pretty simple to work out if you wanna watch it, the Watch or avoid is just a guideline to that genre, so if you like the genre then you will like the movie more than likely.

i'll start

today i watched

Finders Fee - Mystery Indie movie - Watch for sure

Red Eye - Thriller - Only if your bored ( though cillian murphy is creepy :D )

carry it on :D

Anyway since i have the flu i watched a couple of movies.

Deja Vu - simply put, denzel washington travels back in time to stop a bomb and to save a woman that dies in the blast, falling in love with her in the process.
Good movie, Denzel is a great actor and if u like him then watch this movie.

Blood Diamond

Well this movie was just awesome. I wont really explain the story n such cos its needs to be seen.
Leonardo is just amazing in this movie and his accent for the best part is awesome too.
Now the real star of this movie is Djimon Honusou, this guy is just fantastic and conveys emotion like never before seen in a movie, If you've seen Gladiator you'll know who he is when u see him.

Go watch this movie!

note. Djimon Hounou said at the premiere on the red carpet, " You know i thought we tried our best to show the message of the blood diamonds, Yet i still see so many people here with diamonds on... but hey its hollywood right"

I saw V For Vendetta last week. Very nice, ending made me cry a bit :)

I watched "Big Boy" or something last night. It was a japanese film about a man waking up in prison, but having no idea nor any recollection as to how/why he got there. Therefore, when he gets out fifteen years later, he goes out seeking revenge. Nice plot twists, albeit a bit stretched and over the top at times.

LOL bail. It's called Oldboy and its a Korean man who was not sent to prison but imprisoned by someone seemingly without reason and he gets out with a limited ammount of time to kill the guy who did it to him.

sounds like a different version of crank

Lady Vengeance

Fantastic arthouse film from South Korea. Very dark, and perhaps slightly disturbing in places, however its wonderfully filmed, and i thought it was fantastic.

Saw Rocky Balboa the other night, wasn't bad, Paulie was great as always, and Stallone actually managed to pull off some good dialogs.
Not as good as the first, but better then 2-5.:)

The Gridiron gang - "The rock" teaching young men in a detention center (not sure what it's called) how to play football.
The usual movie where the guys start out hating eachother because they come from different gangs and learn how to work together.

It's a "it's 9am a sunday and I'm bored movie". Kills some time, but not to watch two times.

and The Rock rules:P

The Pursuit of Happyness

A well made feel good film starring and produced by Will Smith. Smith does a good job of getting out of his action here typecast, and the film works well, although it does seem a little drawn out in places.

Its based on a true story.

The Guardian

I really enjoy these movies, inspirational movies based upon true occupations.
This one is set in the coast guard and from all the reviews i have read on it is actually very realistic in showing you the dangers and the courage of the coast guard and the divers.
Ashton kutcher is the up and coming diver, haunted by his past and driven by records, its nice to watch his character develop and his views on life change as he understands the role he is searching for in life.
Kevin Costner is one of the best and most successful divers in the coast guard and after a bad rescue is told to take some time out and go train some people in the academy to get back in shape. Needless to say he ends up training ashton kutcher and they bond very well on screen.
The final climax is good and believable too. I recommend seeing this movie if you liked such movies as Men of Honor and Remember the Titans, that sort of genre. it is alot more grown up than Remember the titans tho :)

Little Miss Sunshine

Saw the movie about a week ago, it's a very well-done movie that features a hapless, rather distanced family trying to get to a beauty pageant for the seven year old daughter of the family. The acting is very good, especially by Steve Carrell who shows that he can be a drama man as well as the funniest man ever with his role as the suicidal uncle that has experienced a lot of things in his life. Greg Kinnear is great also as the father of a family with severe financial problems and just trying to get by.

Children of Men

Very depressing movie, yet inspiring and hopeful. I liked the take on the dystopian future and the storyline overall. The acting is all very, very strong by every actor. What I liked most about the movie was that it was very real, and instead of focusing on an overall political message on what should happen, it went straight to the pro-life message.

Nightmare before christmas.

Quirky animation at its very best. Everyone should watch this at least once.

A Midsummer Nights Dream (Modern adaption)

A surprisingly good film, based upon Shakespeare's classic, but adapted for a modern audience it stars Christian Bale, Kevin Kline, and Stanley Tucci among others. Worth a watch if you're bored, or a fan of Shakespeare and old English Language.

Night at the Museum

Above average comedy caper starring Ben Stiller, with appearences from Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, and Dick Van Dyke. Ranges from very funny, to not funny at all, but works ok as a piece of light entertainment.

Finally got to see Déja Vu 2 days ago, and I'll admit its a breath of fresh air when you get a movie that requires you to think ahead and in the past, and question whats going on :)

Denzel as always, on top form.
