Lets face it people dont have the same taste in movies but its pretty simple to work out if you wanna watch it, the Watch or avoid is just a guideline to that genre, so if you like the genre then you will like the movie more than likely.

i'll start

today i watched

Finders Fee - Mystery Indie movie - Watch for sure

Red Eye - Thriller - Only if your bored ( though cillian murphy is creepy :D )

They based a lot of the Wolverine origin on a comic series that came out a few years ago. Most comic fans didn't care much for the origin story (making him some weak farm kid named James) but it became canon in the Marvel universe nonetheless.

Honestly it was spot on most of the time. I'm not defending, just saying they put more care into it than I figured they would. The brothers aspect was silly, Agent Zero was like an asian version of Maverick, the Wraith character was completely made up and the way Wolverine lost his memory was really stupid.

Also, jesus f-ing tap dancing christ did they screw up Deadpool. God they need to make a spin off movie and redeem his damn name. Best character in the whole damn marvel universe and they make up some total bullcrap about him.

Otherwise I enjoyed it.

He's known yeh, for the guys who cant die and has spikes coming out of his hands, basically he's a total badass. But that film does nothin else. And that wiki thing aint right. In on of the film when he is "remembering" you clearly see them putting the spikes in. Anywho, CHEESE!

i read in wolverine origin comic that he had those before the whole adamantium skeleton thing. it fit quite well tbh. this one:

umm id actually say he is one of the most popular characters even if some elements of his past are not very clear. wouldnt call him unknown for that though.

X - Men Origins: Wolverine.

Now I watched this on mixed reviews from my friends, some saying Jackman was awesome, some saying the story line added depth to an almost unknown character. My Opinion... Bullsh*t, the Director(s) and those brain boxes at Marvel seem to have conveniently just messed everything together with plotlines lines from left right and centre. Obvious Victor (who obviously was, but received no mention Sabertooth) is integral to the making of Wolverine, but brothers, please, for a start (not claiming to be an X-Men genius, but I watched my fair share of cartoons when I was younger) it’s not even factually correct, the bone spikes in his hand, I recall one cartoon episode many moons ago of the scientists implanting the spikes in his arms.

For an all-round cheesy movie with an undeniable predictability go see it. But it doesn’t add anything to the previous 3 X-men movies apart from Wolverine having a troubled past. Tell us something we don’t know!

I’ll have my Stilton with some crackers and a spot of port.

Quantum of Solace.

it was Ok. Id say it was actually simmilar to Hitman. Why? Action and place of action changed way too many times too often. Any other simmilarities? No one will remember it after a year or two.
Daniel Craig shined when he had time to act in Casino Royale. In this movie with so many flashy fast moving stuff - he didnt even have a chance.
Overall - quite a weak Bond movie. Hopefully next one will be better. Oh and without M.J.Fox as a cameraman hopefully.

Defiance.

Another Daniel Craig movie! haaaa! Well i mostly got it so i can see how this new guy acts in different scenario. Not a bad movie tho!
Some stupid attempts at speaking russian language, but otherwise it was cool. It was also filmed in my country (altho in movie they are supposedly in a different place) so it was quite cool to see those woods that to my eye, really looked like my countryside : )

Werewolves have always overpowered vampires in tyipcal melee scenarios in Underworld, so that's nothing new - it is shown however that vampires are considerably stronger than humans, in underworld 1 when Selene holds Michael against the wall off his feet using one hand without breaking a sweat. Also, Viktor in Underworld beats down Raze in werewolf form with his bare hands, showing that the Vampires do become incredibly strong. Long story short, we're left to assume that Viktor's army of vampires is too young to have the strength to brawl directly with werewolves and survive, which may gave the impression of their lack of strength

well i guess i just dont really like the underworlds vampires as a whole.
im too used to world of darkness type of vampires where they have abilities from extreme telekinesis to mindtricks to necromancy or invisibility.
markus - such and old vampire was as savage and mindless as the first lycan. youd expect him to be more inteligent and experienced than any human being, yet he is far dumber than anyone lol

A LOT OF SPOILERS REGARDING THE UNDERWORLD SERIES HERE ETC.

Quote:
As far as a story goes yes it did make sense, but im fairly sure Victor dies in a previous film. Although I could be mistaken. All in all it was just a terrible film.

It was never made clear that Victor died in Underworld 3, for all we know he was merely incapacitated - look at how the elders 'sleep' for several years at a time, they're bone dry, but the blood revives their body and repairs it. We can only assume that the sword through the back of his mouth didn't deliver enough damage to cripple him to a point where he couldn't regenerate

Quote:
werewolves were robbing villages and smithies for weapones yet when they came to attack the stronghold - they all just transformed to werewolf form :P why the fuck they needed those weapons then?

If you take away their weapons, what can they fight you with? Easier prey

Quote:
what else? ok so that main girl and main lycan guy gets punished. lycan watches how the girl burns in the sun. then victor comes , lycan transforms and escapes.
why he couldnt transform before? some stupid arrows in his back? well he still had them when he transformed -.-

I don't think he had the experience yet to change on will, it's only when he witnesses the fullmoon that he changes, something Viktor seemingly overlooked with the skylight still open. Lucien is still quite a young Lycan in Underworld 3

And since I've commented on those, may as well look at your original comment on U3;

Quote:
Victor - was just painfuly annoying. That Sonja who was a little simmilar to Kate Beckinsale (the looks) wasnt really interesting or charming and while in the whole movies story her role was as a main character - it felt as if she was a secondary one.

He was annoying, but he's meant to be as it's his flaws that lead to his downfall, he was too strong to be beaten in a fight he was ready for, excluding the one with Lucien. Viktor was also on the brink of death when he attained vampirism, giving him a renewed vigor beyond anything he experienced as a human. From there, he went on to be lord of an army, of which the likes had never been seen in the world before. Immortality in his grasp, eternal army at his beckon, I'm not surprised he's the way he is - the Lycan are such a threat to the humans, that even they pay him tribute and make the vampires extremely wealthy, so by killing out one of the few threats to 'his race', he gets a twofold bonus when humans pay tribute to him for it. Consequently, if the lycan and vampie bloodlines were to mix (via Sonja's baby), an entirely new and volatile threat to his throne would be born, which could lead to revolution from either side, likely leading to the end of his reign, and possibly his life. He was an ass, but I can see why, his actions were hardly illogical. Agreed on the Sonja part though, character development wasn't so deep there in the movie, and there was no background origin on the sonja/lucien relationship, which was dissapointing. Would have liked to see how they ended up being a pair, being the unlikely match that they are

Quote:
Lycans were powerful throughout the movie, while vampires were just.. i dunno. strong humans living in the dark? nothing supernatural about them.

Quote:
I wont spoil too much, but the main flaw is creating countless presumably unbeatable barriers and a few minutes later those are squished like nothing. then you are left with thoughts 'why he couldnt do that before?'.

Such as? If you mean 'why didn't the lycan zerg attack earlier', they were unorganised, leaderless, and fewer in number - it is only when Lucien gathers them together and gets them to listen to him, and bolsters their ranks with the freed lycans from the vampie stronghold, that they attack.

Lucien also made himself a key to unlock his collar anytime he chose to, yes - but there's a few reasons he 'didn't use it sooner'. Firstly, he loves Sonja, and would have to convince her to flee with him, as obvious from the movie he would not leave her behind, nor his fellow lycans. Secondly, if caught by Viktor, he would be punished no matter what the reason, as shown in the movie.

Quote:
action scenes were kinda crappy.. everything so fast and flashy that apart from blood splurting from peoples throats you couldnt see anything. that made me think that all that was done to hide shitty choreography. underworld 2 didnt have this problem...

Not all scenes were impossible to watch clearly. When Sonja fights Viktor, it's very clear. When Lucien shoots his arrows to save Sonja, it's also very clear, to the point the focus is on the arrows. Underworld 2 did have that problem btw, when Markus first rises out of his coffin and kills Kraven's crew, you can barely tell wtf is going on. In contrast though, the scene in the forest where she kills the humans hunting Michael, is very clear. All three underworld movies have both clear and unclear scenes I'd say, and the choreography is decent enough most of the time in my opinion

if palpatine died in ep6 why you were not surprised to see him in prequels? same shit in underworld 3. it happens before 1.

i remember some things that just didnt make sense...

these and many other random things didnt make sense. and while the story as a whole was pretty clear - those random things pretty much destroyed the movie.

great movie.
daniel craig seemed like a good actor. the only complaint would be his disturbing eyes lol
bond was more emotional in this movie i guess, sometimes even randomly violent (well atleast it looked like that sometimes), but that looked refreshing.
i just wish there wasnt that 'vertical wallrun' thing at the beginning of the movie. people cant run upwards for 5 seconds no matter how good they are lol

Fanboys! i saw this last night with artex. we were looking for movies to watch and i randomly clicked this on Fandango 'cuz i had never heard of it. honestly this was one of the funniest movies i have ever seen. here's the synopsis:

To honor the wishes of their dying friend, some diehard Star Wars fans set out on a cross-country road trip to George Lucas' famous Skywalker Ranch. There, they intend to treat their pal to a screening of the movie series' latest installment before its official release.

here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntzYG9t5zi0

seriously, anybody who likes star wars should watch this. there are so many inside star wars jokes, but even if you don't always catch those it's hilariousssss
