Just watched a movie ? let us know what you just watched with a simple watch, Avoid or if your bored next to it.

Lets face it people dont have the same taste in movies but its pretty simple to work out if you wanna watch it, the Watch or avoid is just a guideline to that genre, so if you like the genre then you will like the movie more than likely.

i'll start

today i watched

Finders Fee - Mystery Indie movie - Watch for sure

Red Eye - Thriller - Only if your bored ( though cillian murphy is creepy :D )

carry it on :D

V for Vendetta is a very good film :) a must see! some funny moments from V, although i must admit that some of natalie portmans lines seemed very forced, and she had some terrible lines at the end lol, but other than that i cant find anything wrong with it :), thoroughly enjoyable! 9.5/10

It was good, I liked the graphic novel better, but it just seemed like another rehash of Orwellian themed problems, much like the movie Equilibrium. But otherwise, it was a cool movie with a genuine hero.

GAH, Equilibrium *shudders* i hate that film xD, i guess, i can see where your comming from but imo it didn't seem at all like Equilibrium :o

Equilibrium ruled, I don't know what you're talking about :P

The Proposition.

Stunning film, very well filmed, and made. Written by Nick Cave, it stars Guy Peirce, Emily Watson & Richard Wilson among others. It is set in the Australian outback in the 1880's, and has an interesting, although in some cases disturbing, plot. Its an intense film, but well acted and well written, with some wonderful touches, its much more than the surface plot, with some subtle themes running throughout.

I really enjoyed it and i reccommend anyone with any interest in this type of film or that period of Australian history (or even if you like westerns in general), to go see it.

Lady in the Water

Well, what can I say? It's a Shyamalan film. So I loved it :P (if you haven't seen my post go back a page and it's at the top). But as a movie it was a little bit fairytale-ish. What I mean by that is basicly almost everything in it is unbelievable, from the way people act/react to the way things seem to fall into place. Not even mentioning the story :P. But, it was very well done and I would definitly recommend it.

Thumbs Up!

I liked it, and you might and you might not. Either way go check it out. ;)

Miami Vice 2006 -

Just watched this one and it was fantastic all you could ask for in a action movie, its not buddy cop or anything its just micheal mann gritty and moody... jamie foxx was clearly the better actor and had most of the action scenes himself but if u like collateral or Heat you will surely like this movie

FlightPlan, with Jodie Foster.

Good solid thriller, in true hitchcock style. Not brilliant by any stretch of the imagination, but clever in places, and managed to keep me guessing just long enough to hold my interest, i enjoyed it more than i thought i would.
Worth a try, if you like tense films. Its set on a plane for most of it, and features a missing child who knowone believes is missing or even exists except Jodie Foster's character.

it was alright but hollywood likes to try go political in its movie even if its minor, i mean trying to make the viewers think it was the pakistani people that were on the plane just really annoyed me, hollywood have just typecast them forever... apart from that it was ok i guess heh

Just saw Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Real fun movie, loved Sasha Baren Cohen (Ali G Show), his purposely forced accent was great.

Lots of great laughs, I won't spoil any for you, just go out and see it!

Miami Vice.

Pretty good TV-to-movie adaptation. Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell do very well in their roles of Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) and Sonny Crockett (Farrell).

For fans of Heat and Collateral this is a must. Michael Mann's signature direction is clear. He keeps you askig questions of what happens next and if the duo have been rumbled.

Saw Superman Returns yesterday. Twas a good watch, interesting that it focused more on him returning than Lex Luthor's latest plot to dominate the world, but it worked well. Only critisism is that i felt they were struggling to find a good way to end the film, not sure if if it would work with that many follow on films either, compared to Spiderman or X-Men.

Still i enjoyed it, definitely worth a watch!

I saw POTC2 today. Hadn't seen the first one and I didn't wanna see #2 until I saw #1. Oh well, too late now. I understood the story very well though so it wasn't all that bad

Yes, and somebody told alot of people to wait until the end of the credits to watch that video because about 20 people stayed till the end :P Including us. I understood the very end video...why didn't other people? It wasn't that hard lol

Ah well, Good stuff.

Well, I watched this two nights ago.. But I think it still counts. >_>

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children - Basicly, if you want to watch (and enjoi) this film I would highly suggest playing/beating the game Final Fantasy VII. That is, if you want to understand most of it anyways. And as for the actual movie, it was very well done (character-wise etc..) and VERY beautiful, graphic-wise. The fight scenes were well thought out and just enjoiable. In all I would suggest this movie to FF fans, and maybe even to just a good old movie fan.

In all...

Thumbs Up!

Go watch and enjoi it!

I saw Boondock Saints for the first time yesterday and it has got to be the best movie I've seen in the past year.

It's basically about these two Irish native brothers that live in Boston, whom of which are both very religious and extremely close. After witnessing heinous crimes of evil and "sin", these brothers take it upon themselves to become God's Right Hand, if you will, and rid Boston of all evil.

The question that boggles the mind here about the premise of this movie is, are the two brothers doing the right thing in giving themselves the right to exterminate all sin within people by ridding the sinners themselves?

Definitely a cool movie, and Willem Defoe gives a great performance as the FBI agent going after the "saintly" brothers.
